This was a lovely stay. We booked last minute from the road. We were welcomed with a friendly face and our room was upgraded so we were more comfortable. the room has been tastefully updated and felt like luxury! Parking was easy, restaurant on site, lovely staff and a beautiful room. thank you for having us Castlecary House Hotel

Perfect for the price we paid. It was like a little apartment, separare entrance which was just perfect for us, because we needed to go outaide to smoke. Very comfortable bed, big shower.

The hotel was easy to find, clean outside and in. Our rooms were in a news within close walking distance to the restaurant. The restaurant was big bright and very clean. The food was a great price and big portions. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and so cheap. Our waitress for breakfast was Tracy she was lovely, she knew lots of places for us to visit and however busy she was she took time to ask about our day before. She was a credit to the hotel. The hotel doesn’t do daily room service at present due to Covid but when asked they came and did it for us. The beds were comfortable with good quality linen. Towels were soft and fluffy. Hairdryer supplied was powerful The rooms were not the rooms in the photos on the website (think these were of the rooms in the actual hotel) but were still great. The hotel it’s self was quite and everybody was so friendly. Look forward to coming back next year.
Wasn’t really anything except the Mews rooms look like they could do with a revamp but have a feeling they will be done soon as they don’t match the hotel decor, I think the hotel has been done recently and the mews will be next. Also wasn’t expecting a small flight (6 steps) up to the bedroom. Was ok for us as we were youngish but wouldn’t be good for old people or disabled. Needed to go up and down these to access bathroom.

It was our first night in Scotland and we were very tired from the seven hour plane trip. The staff at Castlecary House Hotel were very friendly and checking in was very easy. Our room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Everyone at the Castlecary House Hotel were so very friendly and nice to us. The Castlecary House Hotel has its own bar and grill and we had dinner there. We had fish and chips and it was delicious. The following morning we had our breakfast and it began with sweet rolls, breads, juice, and cereal and then a delicious English Breakfast prepared and brought to our table! It was just too much; more than we could have ever expected! What a wonderful bed & Breakfast in Cumbernauld, Scotland!
