There was an instant feel of welcoming and warmth when arriving at the property, this continued after getting to my room - the bed was comfy, the room was cosy and the shower had great pressure which is always a boost! Delicious would be an understatement for the food on the evening.. the prawns and chorizo to start were really nice and flavourful. The lamb for main course was cooked to perfection. Which then made me have a sticky toffee for desert which did not disappoint. The food was served with a smile and in great timing. The full scottish breakfast was also great, although I was still full from the night before.
Not that it bothered me in the slightest and actually made me laugh, there was an iron imprint melted into the carpet in my room. Only laughed because I have done this at home too.

Our room was spacious and with a view out the back of the building to the old jail on the hill leading up to Stirling Castle. The building is historic and the rooms fit the motif. No lift so be prepared for stairs but they will help with luggage on request. You can walk to everything of note in Stirling except maybe the Wallace monument which is a couple of miles away. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, though on the pricy side it is well worth the splurge. Likewise with breakfast though it is included in the room price. They do have parking onsite. Everyone is welcoming and attentive to your needs.
Can be a bit noisy from cars and customers coming and going from the car park out back in the late evening hours if you room faces that direction.

Had garden room on lower ground floor, which has window view onto front garden. Room large, tastefully furnished with large modern shower in bathroom. Spotlessly clean and we were provided with free snack that were always renewed! Staff very friendly yet professional at all times. Ate in hotel restaurant both nights of our stay and enjoyed dinner from varied menu; a great place to relax after a day’s sightseeing. Easy access to city centre and an uphill climb to Stirling Castle, which is a must see! Highly recommended.
Cooked breakfast options for vegetarians not extensive, mainly consisting of eggs; porridge, fresh fruit salad would have been appreciated. .

Our stay in The Allan Park Hotel in Stirling was superb. An amazing hotel, very friendly and efficient staff and our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented with one of the best welcome trays we have ever had. On site parking, with excellent breakfasts and a lovely dining experience made our stay special. Perfectly located for shopping, Stirling castle, old town jail and, of course, Bannockburn. Absolutely recommend this hotel; so please visit it as you will not be disappointed.
No complaints whatsoever.

Excellent position near to city centre but nice quite area with easy free car parking at rear. Atmosphere and general vibe was relaxing. Food in restaurant was excellent both at breakfast and evening meal so didnt eat out, and restaurant was obviously popular with non residents so book beforehand. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. Would have been easy to stay for longer.
Not much, I suppose being picky the decor was a bit dated in the bedrooms but clean and comfortable, and for a budget priced hotel it was well worth the money, and we would certainly stay there again if in the vacinty.

Room size, location and amenities were all good. Good parking on site. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Decor was nice and bed was comfortable. Generous supply of amenities and extras made us feel at home. Best coffee we've had in weeks. Credit to the barista at breakfast.
There was no bag rack or storage facility in the room so for two people this meant cluttering the floor with our two bags. Power points only on one side of the bed for charging. TV could be larger given the distance from the bed but thats a personal preference. Breakfast was very ordinary. Tasted like it was pre-made and waiting for us for some time. It was large but bland and cold by the time it got to the table.

Great location, lovely staff and spotlessly clean. Food was also really nice, the bar has a nice cosy feel to it as well. Our room was large, comfy and absolutely spotless. You can see the castle from the car park too and its not far at all to walk to nearby pubs/shops/restaurants if you want to. However despite it being very close to local amenities it was not noisy at all. There were coffee/tea making facilities in the room but also bottled water and some snacks which was a lovely surprise! Breakfast is included and had lots of choice everything was cooked fresh as well! All the staff we we spoke to were really friendly. We would definitely come back here.
The only downside would be if you have limited mobility there are stairs to access the property and to the rooms. I found this ok as it wasn't a lot of stairs but some people might struggle with that.

A wonderful spot walking distance from the castle, town, and train station. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and breakfast the next morning. There were little treats and refreshments left in the room, which saved us going out to look for some munchies for the evening.
The only thing I would say needed some improvement was the bed. It didn't seem to have much padding, and I could feel and hear the springs when sitting and lying down.

We agree with the comments made by many other reviewers - the food was excellent! And every single member of staff we encountered, from front of house to kitchen staff, was courteous, friendly and helpful.
We found the music played during mealtimes intrusive, and conversation could be tricky during the busy evening dining. We'd considered bringing guests for a meal one evening, and the staff tried hard to find a way to give us a table that would be relatively quiet. In the end we opted to eat elsewhere, though, as we really needed to be able to chat easily during our meal.
