The breakfast was amazing. Kate was extremely friendly and a pleasure to be around. She deserves to go far. Our WiFi on tv was not working and Matt come to fix it. A true credit to the team in his helpfully honest approach. Nothing was too much trouble and always making good conversation and did not appear in a rush to leave us. Breakfast was great and my little one loved the Nutella croissants. Wish we could of got to know Steve the manager better.

Lovely place , nothing

It was a very homely pub room was very spacious and the beds was so comfortable, I Liked the fact they had a Dyson fan in the room also as it did get warm in the night. Also had a coffee machine a phone charger and a bottle of water by the sides of the bed, plenty of tea and coffee in the room

Would of been nice to have breakfast included in with the price and also in the room the shower cream was so so high if you was in the bath you had to stand to get the cream as you Couldn’t take it out of the holder as it was locked up 🙈

Everything. From first entering the property to leaving our stay was excellent. Each and every staff member was lovely to talk to and made the stay really enjoyable. We were staying as it’s conveniently located near Bath and Longleat. We stayed for dinner and the highlight was the fish. Big is an understatement but delicious describe it perfectly as well as the other meals. Breakfast was the same, just another lovely meal. As a group we have all decided this is the inn for us if we ever find ourselves near Bath and a place to stay.

The breakfast was very well laid out with a large choice of cereals, breads, juices, beverages, jams and condiments. The choice of cooked breakfast was superb with Benedicts as a heading as well as continental and classic full English options. The room was very comfortable with a large television, chairs and a very comfortable bed. Unhappily, our room was directly adjacent to a fire door and squeaky floor boards so we were disturbed at 05.30 each morning by people leaving. The evening meal was good and tasty although we had to wait awhile to get it, however it was good value for money. The room was very well supplied with a large range of coffees, teas, and even biscuits. There was plenty of material for washing in a stylish bathroom. There was a marvellous array of charging points all round the room and this backed up the observation that the room had recently been renovated. Staff were very attentive and the breakfast host was charming.

Squeaky floor boards could be eliminated and the fire door muffled

dog friendly, staff nice and helpful, available parking, good WiFi signal, nice food, plenty to choose from for breakfast, comfy bed

squeaky floorboards right outside bedroom door, bright light in corridor coming through under the door, not enough milk provided in room, but staff provided a small jug when asked for more., had to ask for toilet paper too one day. bathroom needs a charging point for shavers and/or electric toothbrushes. and the window needs a blackout blind, the bright lights over night entrance door are very bright and door needs a softer close to stop banging. and sausages aren’t great. mould around window needs addressing and it needs a spring clean

Fantastic place to stay..rooms were large and well equipped.. 😀..the only fault was from room 10 was the step down the corridor..its very hard to spot, and I fell forward..but explained to manager on checking out..but apart from that it's a fantastic location 15 mins from Longleat..and the same from Warminster Town.. Totally satisfied with the condition of room and would definitely go back again..haven't tried the food..but the accommodation was superb..well done guys...

Just the step..but that is my only comment..

The location for visiting Longleat was fantastic The free parking was excellent The bedroom was very comfortable Even though it waw on a main road our room , room 6 was quiet at night Staff were very friendly especially Leonard the owner he was delightful.

You need to be careful along some of the corridors, & going into some bedrooms as there are 'little steps' which are not obvious. (Not a complaint just an observation) The evening meal reasonable, but, needs more finesse . Eg, Prawn avocado cocktail , prawns appeared to have been defrosted quickly?

Lovely atmosphere as I entered to check in. Restaurant looked lovely. Plenty of parking. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff..loved the toiletry dispensers in the bathroom. Nice quality and smelt devine.

Because it was half term it was very noisy outside my bedroom window (room 4) as lots of children climbing on the wall near the residents emergency entrance and people smoking. Clearly visiting. Finally stopped around 9pm. I’d been up since 4.15am so wanted an early night. I did doze and it was irritating but bearable.. only because I was SO tired.. on a weekend diving course at Vobster Quay in Somerset..

Charming property, close to Warminster which is what I wanted. Excellent parking with picturesque grounds. The room I had was huge with everything needed for a pleasant stay. I only used the restaurant once, the food was delicious.

Road noise can be a little off putting however it’s quiet at night. Room could get warm but that’s covered by a fan in the room. Nothing really not to like.

I'd phoned the hotel when booking as it was dependent on having twin beds, and were pleased to see these on arrival. Brilliant breakfast; good evening meal - delicious ice-cream;. 3-pin plug socket by one bedside table; Comfy beds; Detachable shower head so I could wash my hair without needing to shower every time - but see below; Everything needed in room, including ironing board & upright fan; Plenty of on-site parking

I'm just under 5 ft. tall and couldn't reach the shower and controls or shampoo/soap dispensers. Fortunately my companion was able to get the shower head down for me and turn the water on but it was awkward avoiding getting wet himself - the shower was only accessible by standing in the bath, not from the floor, as the shower screen was fixed to the bath.
