Everything connected with The Three Daggers is superb - the pub itself, especially the food and beer, the wonderful cottages and stunning farmshop. Eleven family members descended on Orchard House and Edington Brewhouse cottages and had a tremendous time. The cottages were decorated in exceptional taste with so many lovely touches like fresh apple juice and milk in the fridge, amazing cookies, a large growler to fill with the Three Daggers beer for free and a voucher for 10% off in the shop. We felt like we were in an idyllic countryside retreat wuth log burners and an Aga and an Orchard next-door but still had all mod cons that were needed like Google Nest thermostats, comfortable beds and more kitchen equipment than you could ever need. Jackie was a great host and Adam and the team at the restaurant looked after us very well. Can't wait to go back!

Luxurious room, very comfy and had everything we needed. Love how dog friendly the Three Daggers are. Great to have the pub, restaurant, pizzeria, and farm shop on the grounds. Also a bonus having access to the shared lounge and kitchen area with fresh milk and apple juice in the fridge, a wonderful surprise.

Our room was overlooking the beer garden and kids playground which was fine apart from the noise. As it was a heatwave we needed the windows open so it was quite noisy until 10.30/11pm due to the popular beer garden and then from 8.30/9am from the families having fun in the playground. Our room was also by the staff smoking area so we got the smell of cigarettes in the room occasionally too. Once it all settled down we had a great night's sleep.

As we do not have a cooked breakfast, I felt that there was little choice other than yogurt, mixed berries and cereal. Orange juice was fine. I would have preferred to be upstairs in a much lighter place for breakfast. Very dark down below. Restaurant food in the evening was excellent. The chairs were really uncomfortable just wood no cushions. we ask for one but too big. Bed really comfortable and slept well. Shower superb. TV Cupboard Hinges need oiling. Farm shop excellent, and purchased Three Daggers Ale in a flagon. Have since drunk and it has my thumbs up as a lover of real ale. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend to others.

This proved to be quite a gem. This refurbished pub has a lot to offer. The adjacent Farm Shop had good quality products at fair prices and the Micro-Brewery is underneath. The beer was excellent and the food in the dining room well above average. Our room, Priory, was well appointed with an ensuite with a walk-in shower. We were meeting friends and were able to use the sitting room adjacent to our room. There is also a private dining room and the old pub had been cleverly and sympathetically remodelled. The staff were more than helpful and pleasant.

Beautifully modernised pub. Three gorgeous bedrooms (2 ensuite, with the twin room bathroom just across a corridor) and a large communal seating area if you wanted to use it (ideal if you were taking all three rooms). Thanks to the two really nice ladies who gave us a tour just before we checked out. Dinner was outstanding.. About 50 covers on a Monday night in October so clearly has a good reputation. Nice ambience in the bar with a central log fire. Breakfast was equally fabulous.

Everything. The fit and Finish of the pub, farm shop and accommodation was unbelievable. If I were to renovate an old house, and it ended up being even 60% as good as the Daggers I’d be very happy. The food was also superb, and the duration of my stay allowed me to try most of the dishes on the menu. The young Chef is superb and passionate about his food and it really showed. The front of house team were also absolutely fantastic, nothing was a bother for them at all, even at points allowing us to order over the phone and keep food warm for us to work around our unpredictable hours. To sum up, if I was planning a trip to anywhere in the surrounding area the Daggers is the only place I would stay, it was perfect.

Nothing.

Excellent breakfasts/lovely locality/pub with nice atmosphere/pleasant staff/very well equipped residents lounge.

We had a room without en- suite bathroom although the latter was private across the landing from the room. This arrangement was somewhat inconvenient although robes were provided to spare our blushes😀. The seating in the room was inadequate although the residents lounge was nearby and we did not need the single chair.

Our room, the bathroom and the guest lounge were all absolutely beautiful. The evening meal in the dining room was delicious and our breakfast was amazing. But really it is the staff that set this venue apart- they couldn't have been more kind and helpful. We only stayed one night but it was perfect and I would thoroughly recommend this venue to everyone.

We liked the cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Our room (Tinhead) was very comfortable with plenty of space - you can request in advance that the single bed is removed. Our bathroom (very large with good shower and bath) was across the corridor but this was no problem. We had two delicious dinners in the restaurant and enjoyed the craft ale.

The internet connection was poor.
