The check in process was quick, once we went into the room I could see attention to detail such as robes and slippers and a bottle of gin and water to help yourself to. The room was spotlessly clean. They also had a Dyson fan in the room as it was so warm. The mix of old and modern in furnishings and decor was done perfectly. The bed was so comfortable I even slept which I never do when staying in hotels. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

I didn't like going through the bar to check in, there was a side door you could use once you had a key.

Location perfect for visit to Chartwell House. Bedroom in roof space exceeded expectations although the ensuite bathroom was rather cold. Loved the roll top bath. Complimentary gin and chocolates a nice touch. Bed roomy and very comfortable. Breakfast just what was needed to start the day. Booked a meal in the restaurant on the evening of arrival - food was very good but very pricey and service charge a little excessive. Other than this small gripe, oh and the cold bathroom, a short but comfortable and enjoyable stay.

A warmer bathroom would have been nice and maybe a choice as to the service charge payable.

The George & Dragon has recently undergone a refurbishment and it is stunning, everything is catered for with a little cosy area for a quiet drink upstairs away from the bar. The room was of a top hotel standard and a complimentary half bottle of gin was there to enjoy. although it is on the main road there was no noise or interruption to sleep, the bed was really comfortable and TV with remote was also available. The bar and restaurant serve at set times so be aware of these. The menu is very different and if you have allergies there is an app that can help you select meals taking into consideration your food allergy. Parking is available on site which is a massive bonus in Westerham and high street location is great for exploring.

Not that food is a problem being in the high street but make note of times of the day where food is not available.

Recently refurbished to a very high standard, everything was spotless and new, very comfortable bed, the room was not air conditioned but had a very good dyson fan which kept the room cool. All of the staff were friendly and went out of there way to help with all requests.

The breakfasts on both days of our stay was far from good, the bacon was overdone and unedible, the toast was burnt the poached eggs were hard and the avocado tasted awfull. The many fire doors could do with dampers as when they closed they made a banging noise which could be clearly heard from the bedroom.

The staff are super helpful and friendly. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. Shower pressure is fantastic. The Restaurant that's situated in hotel is very helpful. All the food served at the hotel is fantastic and very tasty. Hotel is located in a nice area where you could walk around.

The parking is always a nightmare at the hotel. You always struggle to find parking and to get in and out of the parking at the back is very challenging.

We stayed in this very recently renovated village pub and restaurant for a week whilst visiting relatives. The building has very tasteful decor, and we had a good sized and comfortable bedroom. The breakfast, was excellent, as was the restaurant food and the bar had a convivial atmosphere. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the location is perfect, being in the center of Westerham.

Very clean and tastefully decorated. Easy parking on site. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful room with lovely bathroom, great toiletries, everything you could need catered for with delicious chocolates and beverages. Dyson air cooler fabulous.

Unmanned check in desk on arrival and check out, had to search for staff. Lounge room in bar no windows able to open so very stuffy.

Charm. Quality of refurbishment. Friendly welcome. Bright breakfast room. Standard of breakfast. Good in-room tea and coffee. Comfy bed.

Room faced into streetlights making it difficult to sleep - consider black out curtains. We opted not to dine in as the menu was too refined for what we were in the mood for that evening - consider broadening options for casual dining.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay in a lovely pub. Well presented and clean with friendly staff and good facilities. Katie was especially accommodating and provided a very warm welcome which was appreciated as I arrived much later than planned. She even called me in advance to ensure everything was alright. Sipsmith gin in the room was also a lovely touch!

The room.was absolutely perfect! Such a comfortable bed...amazing decor and just felt like a little bit of luxury. Gin and whiskey available to have, toiletries are wonderful and every little detail made it an amazing stay. On the doorstep of restaurants, bars and great walks. Staff were fantastic and were themselves, great character shining through. Can't wait to book again...the bar and restaurant are to fall in love with!
