Kirkdale Hotel

Great hotel, I found it to be really good value for money. Good location, 15 minute walk from the station and shopping area, it was clean and had all the essentials including towel, shower gel, well stocked with tissue and had a little kettle. The breakfast was good and very friendly, courteous staff.

I did notice a slight smell in the bathroom, maybe some air freshener would resolve this. The neighbours were very noisy - but of course this is not an issue with the hotel.

on my last night there were some creatures that were looking / trying vehicles in the area ( happens all over the country especially London so no detriment to the hotel) The gentlemen working on the desk actually went out to confront them at risk to himself He then came to my door to confirm I had locked up etc He said he was there all night with camera on van and he would let me know if any more issues. These guys care!! I have been broke into many times over the years in London and this was a refreshing touch, these guys care, would deffo stay here again

Perfect position near the center of Croydon, free and big parking lot unlike of many others accommodations in the area, nice and big rooms, tasty breakfast for free and everything for solid price. Nothing to complain from my side.

Location was great

The bed bugs in the room. Apart from the bugs it was a nice warm comfortable room especially on a wet cold windy day. I would stay again once the bed bugs have been eradicated

good location near South Croydon station with easy access to central London, queit, clean rooms, very supportive, friendly and considerate staff make this hotel home away from home.

Breakfast OK for the price. Room clean but mattress on bed very uncomfortable. Needs a mattress topper. Staff friendly and helpful in the main. With this hotel, you get what you pay for!

Me and partner stay here whenever I come to visit him in London, it’s very fair cost wise and it’s location is great.

Particularly room 2 which we always seem to get and have been here a multiple times in the past 6months. The shower doesn’t work! Or more like decides when the water will actually turn warm or just runs freezing cold the whole time. Needs to finally be looked at!

I didn’t have any breakfast as I needed to leave early to attend my brothers wedding

The tv remote stopped working and I couldn’t turn the tv off so just had to unplug the scart lead and plug back in. I could of asked at reception but only a short stay

It was like the house that Jack built and could do with lick of paint, it's like faulty towers without basil, very good for location and money tho !

Changed time of Breakfast and didn't tell us But apologised and cooked us a Breakfast. So problem solved
