St Algars b&b

I stayed twice at St Algar's in different rooms, both were excellent. The peace and quiet were superb and the very friendly hostess became like a friend quite quickly. The house has a very cosy ambience and you could have anything you wanted for breakfast, Kimberley was extremely obliging. For me, the location midway between Verwood and Wimborne couldn't be bettered and I would definitely come here on my next visit.

The breakfast was good and the location excellent. Wimborne only 3 miles away and Kingston Lacy is definitely worth a visit with its extensive grounds and interesting house. Lovely walks around Holt. Very accommodating host. Nothing too much trouble!

I was not keen on removing shoes every time I entered the house even when the footwear was reasonably clean.

Kimberley is a delightful host - warm, welcoming, ready to offer ideas, the loan of guide books etc. The property is very pleasant, very clean and had all we needed, but it was Kimberley herself who made our visit so enjoyable. we enjoyed not having lots of other guests around so we could come to breakfast in our PJs if we wanted!

The host Kimberly was extremely kind and friendly and easy to talk to. When we got there she made us a tray of coffee, tea and shortbread in the garden. The b&b was lovely and homely with an awesome garden. Her 2 dogs were very friendly (and I'm scared of dogs) and we hardly knew they were there. The bed was comfy, the shower was great and the breakfast was awesome. It was only a 20 min drive to bournmouth beach.All in all it was an amazing couple of days away. Thankyou Kimberly.

I was made to feel most welcome having stayed here two years ago. . Kimberley made me a pot of coffee and biscuits when I arrived served on the table on the patio. The large garden is beautiful with a table and chairs on the patio. The bedroom is very comfortable and pleasant as well as being well appointed .There is a spacious bathroom with a shower etc. The room has its own private entrance. The breakfast was exceptional. I would recommend it and will look forward to staying again. Everything is exceptionally clean Kimberley has taken every precautions with regard to Covid. I felt very safe staying here It is in a delightful location with lots of things to do within the area The Old Inn about a mile up the road is excellent for an evening meal.

St Algars B&B was an excellent find, Kimberley was very welcoming and friendly, she made me feel instantly at home and nothing was too much trouble. The twin room has it's own separate entrance and is self contained so it was lovely and quiet, the bed was really comfortable and the room and bathroom had been sanitised and were spotlessly clean, it also overlooks the beautiful garden. The cooked breakfast was a treat too with fresh eggs from her chickens.

I really couldn't fault it at all, I would definitely recommend St Algars and would love to stay there again.

Location was quiet and peaceful, with an excellent pub nearby. Breakfast was light continental (cereals and toast) and the room was quiet with a lovely outlook on the garden, with good facilities. Kimberley was very friendly and helpful. I hope to stay here again.

St Algars stands in its own grounds with a beautiful garden that Kim the hostess seems to manage on her own, besides everything else, this gives a quiet and peaceful location. On arrival I was given coffee and biscuits to enjoy, relaxing on the patio surveying the garden. I was provided with a key to my self-contained accommodation, good for my late evening return. Yoghurt and various cereals were available at breakfast plus scrambled egg on toast as requested. Everything about StAlgars is of the highest standard and Kim is a delightful host. My first choice if I travel that way again.

The only thing I didn't like was saying goodbye to Kim and the two dogs.

Kimberly was lovely, my luggage had been lost and she lent me some clothes while she washed what clothes I had with me, very kind thing to do after a very long flight.

Friendly personal service. A lovely room to stay for the weekend with everything we needed. Kimberley really looked after us. The location was perfect as we were attending a wedding reception close by.
