The location was perfect - in easy, flat walking distance to the centre of town with lots of places to eat and interesting shops. The Minster itself was in easy walking distance. We loved the Bed and Breakfast. Delightful, helpful host and the room was light and airy. The house was really beautifully presented throughout. Breakfast was just right - we were offered a full English breakfast but we wanted something lighter and we both had poached eggs, white and brown toast, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms as requested and the coffee which came in a cafetière was really good. All in all we highly recommend.

Everything spotless. Nothing too much trouble for the hostess., who even put decaf tea and coffee in our room when she found that was what we drank. Bathroom s were well appointed and well supplied with towels and toiletries. Breakfast was cooked to order every morning with everything from a full English to beans on toast or a bacon sandwich.

When you live in a bungalow the stairs are a problem but we managed.! Next time we'll request a room on the first floor. Not a problem for most people, and worth the climb anyway to a lovely room.

It was a bit difficult to locate at first but once found it was a wonderful stay. We only stayed one night, but the size of our double room was nice and spacious and the location is right in town so walking distance to restaurants. The breakfast was very nice and overall a very nice and friendly experience. Really appreciated the fan in the room.

Nothing too serious, but the motion sensor on the light in the bathroom caught us out a bit while showering. Easily solved by opening the doors, but did experience a moment of surprise as the room went suddenly dark.

Perfect location with good parking. Beautifully clean and a warm welcome. The breakfast was delicious with good coffee and a cooked breakfast with option of cereal and fruit too. Very impressed with the shower which was powerful and the water stayed in the cubicle (not going onto the outside floor). Great that I could charge my iPhone through the USB wall socket. TV in the room and tea and coffee. Comfy beds and good use of space in the room.

Could not say a bad thing. Everything was more than expected for a night stay-over.

Just what you want from a B and B. Immaculately clean, very comfortable, good breakfast in a very central location close to good restaurants and pubs (and also a Wetherspoons if that's of interest to you!). Competitively priced, too. I've stayed here a few times and would book here in preference to other accommodation if I return to Wimborne.

It wasn't a problem for me, but my room was up two flights of stairs - the second flight pretty steep - so might not be appropriate for those with mobility issues.

We have stayed here before as the price is very competitive, the rooms are clean and very comfortable although a lot of stairs for us but then we did not state any preference so therefore our mistake. Breakfast was well prepared and tasty. More than enough for us, more if you wanted. We asked for a taxi to be arranged for the following day which arrived on time. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Gordon house where we spent 4 nights in a family room. Anne (the host) was very nice and friendly and we enjoyed speaking to her at breakfast. Our room was spacious and extremely tidy. Anne even had the room thoroughly cleaned, all towels and used glasses replaced, and a jug of water refilled every single day while we were away. We were also offered a fresh and delicious breakfast each morning. The Wifi in the room was super fast, too. The B&B is within walking distance to the city centre of Wimborne Minister where there are plenty of shops and decent restaurants and pubs. Wimborne Minister, a quiet and beautiful town, was only a 20-40 minutes drive to most of the major attractions in Dorset. We went to Paultons Park, Brownsea island, Durdle Door, Bournemouth, and Lyme Regis during our stay. We also saw a bus stop close to the B&B (only 2 minutes walk) to Poole and Bournemouth. We have been to many B&Bs and hotels in the UK and Gorden house is undoubtedly one of the best. Thus, a well-deserved 10 from us for its rating.

Hosts were accommodating to my request for a low floor room though no ground floor room was available. Bathroom was very good with a walk-in shower. Our request for an early breakfast was also met with a smile and when we hit a small snag on our arrival this was dealt with very efficiently and effectively.

Gordon House is right by a traffic junction close to the centre which meant access was OK but not great as was the space for parking. Our room faced the front so there was some traffic noise.

What a fabulous B&B. Located in the heart of Wimborne Minster, literally less than 100mtrs from the towns High Street attractions, restaurants and pubs. Free off street parking provided at Gordon House. Such a warm welcome from the most helpful hosts and that remained the case throughout the short stay. We enjoyed our top floor en suite room. Very, very comfortable, well appointed and perfect for our stay. Decorated and equipped to a high standard, tea and coffee in room. Stairs quite steep so I would suggest if that is likely to cause any problem request a room closer to the ground level.. I led in bed in the morning enjoying the enticing aroma of bacon being cooked and breakfast was excellent. Everything fresh, a choice of numerous cereals or yoghurt and fresh berries to start, toast, and a cooked to order full English… We would not hesitate to recommend Gordon House B&B and should we be in Wimborne again I would be very disappointed if I had to stay elsewhere… Thank you all, you have a wonderful business and establishment….Thank you..

We had a lovely warm welcome. the room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Clean and fresh bedding, towels & toiletries. The cooked breakfast was delicious and I had the vegetarian option. We went to a concert at the Trivoli theatre and the location was excellent being only 1 minute away! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Wimborne, what a lovely town with friendly people. We headed along the river Stour to Lambs Green for a pint in the pub. We will be back!
