comfortable bed and pillows. The room amenities were fine with good choice of beverages. The breakfast grill was well presented and the food was of good quality and a variety of cereals, fresh fruit and juice's. Good selection for evening meal menu in the restaurant. Nice little bar for guests. Staff provided great customer service very friendly and approachable.

The only small concern was the ensuite mirror was a little high for a person of 5ft 5inch or less to be able to see better. No other issues

Grove Hotel is in a very convenient location on the A12 as it goes past Woodbridge, so it is easy to find and easy for onward travel to the Suffolk coast, Sutton Hoo, Ipswich or Norfolk. The rooms are regularly refurbished and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have all the facilities you would expect. We particularly appreciated the fan in this summer's heatwaves. There was plenty of choice for breakfast.

The shower cubicle in the en-suite bathroom was rather small. As it is on a busy road, you can hear traffic noise if you open the windows. The hotel is on the outskirts of the town, so if you want a pleasant stroll in the evening you have to go into the centre of Woodbridge itself, either by car or by a 30 minute walk.

This hotel suited me perfectly, as I wanted to be near the NT Sutton Hoo site. I was not intending to be at the hotel for much time, so a small comfy room, and well cooked meals, all at a moderate price, was ideal. The hotel owner was very helpful with directions for finding places and general information.

The stairs are quite steep. This can't be changed, but a hand rail at the side opposite the bannisters would be helpful.

property is very clean and modern. We had a large room that was very comfortable. Everything we could want or would need, we were only given one small bottle of water each day, being a couple that would’ve been better to have had two. But then I guess we could’ve just asked for an extra bottle. outstanding breakfast. On our first night we had a meal there which was a reasonable price and was incredibly good would recommend eating now if you stay.

not really anything to dislike, however it did feel a little rushed sometimes. we only saw one member of staff and that was the owner. at breakfast there was the same gentleman and a lady helping. I guess some of the other staff may have been on holiday. maybe they were there while we were out. that said everything runs smoothly and it was an excellent stay.

Comfortable room and bed. Very smartly refurbished ensuite shower room with heated towel rail. Kettle and drinks tray. Room 8 right at the back, so no road noise.

Draught coming in through the window vent and bathroom window, on a cold night. Bathroom mirror rather high up! A shorter person wouldn't see much! Could always do with an extra bed covering - fairly thin duvet, I know it's May but it was a cold night.

Big, spacious, clean room.

Rude, poor mannered receptionist and manager. A traffic incident delayed our travel time. We provided over 4 hours of notification and was met with a very rude receptionist and later owner on the phone. We understand the check in times but due to an unforeseen circumstance we’re significantly delayed. Nice place but poor customer service.

The food was excellent, both breakfast and evening meal. The room was comfortable as was the bed. Could have done with a comfortable chair to sit in to watch TV in the evening. Although there was ample daylight in the room from the roof windows, I would have preferred a window to look out of, and maybe a little bit more heat in the room in the evenings although I understand the high costs nowadays.

During our stay we had evening meal as well as breakfast which were exceptional despite the restrictive menus. We were aware that the room was a budget room but it was on the small side and the only available natural lighting was through 2 windows set in the ceiling/roof.

The room could have been bigger with more natural light. There was also a constant background humming noise from the toilet extractor fan which was disturbing during the night. The fact was reported to the management which was unable to locate the problem but did offer us another room which we declined amicably.

Exceptionally clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and great shower in the en suite. Really friendly host, very welcoming and accommodating. Good English food with generous portions both evening meal and breakfast. Check timings for both. Right by the A12 which suited our journey but as expected in this location, some traffic noise. This is a great little hotel and reasonably priced.

Ro0m excellent attention to detail very clean and comfortable and quiet BREACKFAST GREAT COOKED WELL AND HOT bedroom had complementary tray plenty off everything and bottle of water one touch i like in any hotel is the kettle is empty and lid open very good.You can pre book evening meal at reception excellant.

In my opion nothing could be done better
