Directions to property were excellent and the location was perfect for Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Orford and you could even walk to Snape Maltings on the footpaths by river. It was beautifully presented inside, I loved the decor!. Very warm and cosy. Bed was really comfortable with top quality bedding. Very spacious bathroom with huge shower (a shelf/rack of some kind would be useful for shower gel/shampoo etc). A comfortable seating area with amazing views of the river from large windows. Plenty of tea/coffee (Nespresso machine) juice, bottled water available and bread, cereal, jam/marmalade/yogurts etc for breakfast. Everything has been thought of!. For me my stay was perfect and I want to return as soon as possible. I’m so pleased to have found this little gem! Thank you Kate & Dom

Its location is outstanding. Tha views from every window are stunning. There is plenty of garden furniture to sit outside and admire the scenery and bird life. We saw spoonbills . The decor is fresh and the bed linen and beds are very comfortable . We slept well both nights. The hosts were very friendly but not intrusive. The breakfast arrangements were very good as was the breakfast. The area and walks are lovely. It’s the ideal place to stay to get a taste of Suffolk.

In a beautiful setting, this was a relaxing well equipped comfortable cottage, lovely touches of crockery, towels and linen that made it feel very homely. Good outdoor space and access to the river and walks.

On a personal note, a longer stay would be wonderful but because of the absence of self catering this makes it a little more difficult.

Beautiful view of the river/estuary from the property. The interior is beautifully decorated in serene colours and feels very cosy and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable with really high quality bedding, shower was excellent too and breakfast was good produce.

The breakfast was as stated with beautiful fresh raspberries every day 👍it is a very tranquil place with beautiful views. Kate and Dan made us feel very welcome ! We will certainly be booking again x

The incredible view, the privacy, the kind supplies of milk and coffee and breakfast items, and you can walk straight out of the door and onto the coast path. The decor was simply perfect. An outstanding stay, thank you

Lovely location with a genuine river view and footpath along the river close at hand. Fine facilities and fine hosts.

Everything- it was perfect. We didn’t want to leave. So peaceful and restoring. And Kate was a lovely host.
