The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection

This is definitely a luxury resort, with commensurate prices. While some staff were very knowledgeable, others were unable to clarify information from the resort website nor did they attempt to find the information. Our room was exceptionally large with a wonderfully appointed bathroom. I was particularly impressed by the staff who transported us across the resort grounds even though we had not requested transportation. Our food was exceptional and the bar service and staff were far above expectations.

We really enjoyed the spa services (couples massage) and the adult pool area. We also took advantage of the room service, which was a bit costly but the service was excellent. We also enjoyed the coffee shop with muffins for breakfast one morning and for coffee and a snack one evening. The sunset views from the winding walkway were also amazing!

The option for an early checkin when you are using spa services. We had a couples massage the morning of checkin and were offered access to the pool area and property but checkin wasn’t available until 4pm though we did checkin at 3:30.

The grounds were beautiful and I liked all of the available activities for the 6 teenagers that were with us. I enjoyed learning about the history of the Hotel and the Cannon firing and presentation was a wonderful addition !

The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were NOT !!! The Lobby "grab N go" ran out of several things we wanted to get.

We did not have the breakfast but did use the complimentary coffee in the room. Liked easy access to beach and the swings by the bay. The bar & grill or pub or whatever it was, was really nice and drinks reasonably priced.

Not enough light with curtains closed to operate coffee pot. Had to use flashlight to see controls. Also it is so low that I had to kneel down to use it. Did make good coffee though. Perhaps if shelf could be lowered some so there was room for coffee pot at eye level.

The dinner service was excellent. Our waiter went beyond our expectations The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have experienced and we travel extensively.

The room configuration we requested was unavailable and we accepted a lesser value. Overall we enjoyed our stay and already have made plans to return.

The recreational staff at beach hut . Several were mouthing off to each other while guest were signing bicycle waivers- unwilling to help each other pull bikes , etc . Unfortunately some guest started to bicker back - that staff needs team building : job duties specified .

Outstanding Spa....a little pricy but both of us rated it one of the best ever.

Valet parking lost my car air a period of time.....had parked in employee parking because of heavy volume and forgot where it was. Found after about 45 minute wait.

it was beautifully manicured without seeming stuffy. our hotel room was lovely and comfortable. we were with a larger group of people from 13 to 61. there were things for everyone to do.

towels in our room could have been better. they were old and hard. and you know how towels that were once plush feel so heavy. that’s how they were.

Highly recommended and worth the splurge. If you just want a chill vacay by the water and some self care (spa), you don’t have to leave the premises as the restaurants inside serve all three meals. Ask for the catch of the day

They are a nice variety and good service! We enjoy sitting outside or next to the window. The Easter brunch was outstanding, the band excellent, and we were able to sit outside the ballroom!

We would have stayed longer if the prices were lower. Also the piano music in the am is annoying!
