Budget Inn

The staff here is very accommodating and helpful, and since we were dealing with an already difficult situation personally, it was nice to have something go smoothly finally that day. The rooms were cozy and comfy, and my girlfriend and i slept the entire next day which attests to how peaceful and mellow the atmosphere is at the Budget. Ive stayed at other Budget Inn hotels and none of them could compete. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for somewhere to.stay in lompoc over the majority of other places there.

Very clean, nice comforter and bedspread- not what we were expecting from a budget hotel. Two tables & 3 chairs that were comfortable- nothing fancy but 2 w/padded seat and armrests. Clean and complementary manufactured board floors. Color scheme pleasant. Rust on top rear corner of bathtub but nice shower. Creative area for hanging clothes.

Coffee was like brown water. No flavor. Providing a good quality coffee seems like a minimal issue but it’s not.

The room was very clean and had wood and tile floors which we much prefer as carpets are hard to keep clean. The girl at check in was very friendly. Great location near a grocery store, restaurants and even McDonalds if you like that sort of thing. The beds were very comfortable and the heat/AC worked well. It is also not far from Solvang and other attractions like the Purisima Mission.

The faucets in the sink and shower were hard to control and getting hot water was a problem - even at best we had to run the water for a long time - a real waste of water.

The location felt pretty safe. The lady at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. The price was awesome, especially given it's quality.

I had to stay 10 days, so I would've liked for them to offer to change my sheets. But the rest of housekeeping was super good. The internet kinda goes in and out, but mostly good.

The room was fairly recently redone, everything was clean and nice. The room had a TV (cable), microwave and fridge. The beds were OK - all clean, fresh linen but pillows and mattress were a bit soft for my taste. All in all a great deal. Nothing fancy but solid basic m/hotel room at a very good price.

Overall, it was clean and close to Solvang.

When I arrived there was a male full of tattoos holding up his pants and acting suspicious because he was hiding behind a wall and paranoid as he was looking out. I didn’t feel safe, then he rushed away into a room. but, there was no issues after that.

the ice machine was not working. there was plenty of hot water , but at times it would come out scalding hot during my shower. the tv was a little blurry, and the remote was disgustingly dirty. no premium channels.

Rooms are comfortable, like home. My stay was at another hotel for 18 days first, I wish I stayed here instead. Good value, liked separate bathroom area. Staff was kind a d welcoming.

The location was a little sketchy at night time but I felt safe.

The floor was dirty thats all. Hair on the floor and my sons white socks were DIRTY from walking on the floor.

Just the floors seemed as if they had not been swept or mopped

Service was great, front office lady was very nice friendly and helpful. Loved that it had a small kitchenette. Full fridge with freezer(we could put ice packs for the road) enough space to put anything you need . Everything was clean and working.
