Motel 6-Lompoc, CA

The staff are super nice and friendly! I got a problem with my key card to the room. But the staff was patient and helped me with it. And the problem was resolved. The bed is super comfortable! The location is safe and easy to find. The parking is convenient, as I parked in front of my room when I stayed here.

The property doesn’t have shampoo. But I brought my own when I stayed here. So I don’t think it’s a dislike for me. Just a reminder that maybe you could ask the front desk for shampoo or bring your own.

It was nice, for the area, staff is kind. Room was a little a dirty, but I didnt't feel comfortable complaining. I did speak Tyler Tyler is very informative as well understanding even with check in. I could relate though for size of property and all the housekeepers, wish I did know the names of the housekeepers, so I could leave them kudos as well. They were working together, had postive attuidues and friendly. Maintenance I believe, Jonathan was kind, as well did print out application/ or left at front desk. As an option for a possible second job.I am always grateful for staff taking time and saying hello. The location is very good, only thing was key didn't work for laundry room but no big deal it was day of my check out.

The room was clean. The only problem was the bathroom door needed a to be rehung. The hinges were coming loose from the wall. Maybe an exception now then could be helpful. This was not a problem the maid service could do. the staff was very nice. The desk clerk gave us a recommendation for Eva's restaurant and we went for dinner. It was wonderful. The food was great and we felt right at home.

Nothing, we loved it!! Everyone that worked there that we met were helpful and very nice. Our room was in the back so that helped with the traffic noise.

I have stayed several times in this hotel and keep coming back because of its amenities and good value. I got a spacious double bed room. The room is equipped with a microwave, fridge, towels and other essentials. The hotel is located in front of a shopping center and surrounded by restaurants.

I wasn't able to connect to the wi-fi (password did not work). There are no power plugs next or close to the beds. You need to go to the sink area to charge phones and other appliances.

I needed a room with microwave and frig, for a handicap room, none were available, I had to put my insulin on ice in the sink to keep it cold, I had even asked in advance for such room and dropped in early on day of arrival to assure such room was available and was told it would be, to be back around 11:30 so it could be cleaned, once arrived was told the room was not available and only could get the handicap room.

The location and the staff was on point we were there for a party and we didn’t spent alot of time in the room but they were there for us and the party was just down the street so it was perfect

The A/C didn’t work it’s was hot and we tryed to turn on the A/C and don’t turn on we didn’t spent a lot of time in the room only sleep but it was hot

I like the location. It’s clean. Pretty descent, convenient hotel and inexpensive motel. Cashiers were very helpful.

My room was not schedule to cleaned. I asked one lady she said due to the covid they weren’t cleaning the rooms everyday. So I just asked her for some new towels, she’s very nice though. Several people walking at the back hallway during midnight. I’m not sure if those were just passersby. Some were at the fences.

in California having a car is the ultimate STATUS - but I did not have a car, and I took taxis from motel to AMTRAK -- it is a good motel, but you need a CAR if you want to have STATUS in California and be -- to use modern word - COMFORTABLE

the motel was very good, no complaint -- the staff gave me a pen to write -- the city is too dependent on the automobile, but that's California

We still are grateful for being a pet friendly motel. Its very Comforting to know that we wont be frowned upon when waking out big giant puppy around at odd hours of the night. The staff at these motel's are great when it comes to pets...no questions..no hidden fees. Now THAT makes the stay well worth it. Furthermore, we were surprised when we opened the door to this very large room with 2 beds and so much space! Most of our rooms we've had ate nice but a little cramped, sometime. This room was extremely comfortable, in fact, were going to stay today, as well, if available. Last, and very important to us is the check in and front desk employees. Now this is what im Talking about!!! Perfect check-in. He asked, first or second floor? I answered. He asked, smoking or non smoking? This is a first. Signed sealed gave me the keys . thank you bye. All but 3-5 minutes. Most of the time its miserable only because of inadequat staff. Its not very hard to be professional and have respect for the visitors. A pleasant personality along with a smile can really make a difference in a persons stay.

The only thing I didn't like was not having a microwave and mini fridge. Also major missing item in all the motel 6's is the coffee pot. Could use a little more cleaning. Inside on walls. I feel we were over charged but didn't have the time to discuss it with them. Besides, when this is an issue, ive experienced before, no help from front desk ever. They seem to never have a supervisor on duty.😌😳

room smelled not in a good way when walking in. we bought a Lysol for the smell. bed wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. it was clean but we found a cockroach at midnight.
