Hampton Inn & Suites Madera

I stay at a lot of Hotels and can honestly say this was the nicest stay I've had in a long time. The staff was attentive & friendly, the service was excellent. We had a broken toilet set, & they came & put a totally new one on within an hour. The ladies at the breakfast were so friendly & food was good & everything was spotless. The girls at the front desk saw I was looking at the coffee machine & she came & made a fresh pot for me & even had poured the cup for me when I came back in to see if it was ready. It's the little things like that, that make the difference! We highly recommend!

Very welcoming, clean, organized. I appreciated the fact that breakfast was put out early enough for the girls to eat something before heading to our tournament. Usually we are gone before breakfast is out out and never get to enjoy it . Delicious breakfast bar by the way . Special shout out to Lena and Amy in the breakfast bar Sunday morning very attentive to our Softball family. Definitely will be staying when in town again :)

The only thing could be prob the fact that there was no hot up out by the pool .

Staff were very accommodating. Our big clan was in Madera for a funeral and they let us use a meeting room so we could all eat together. really exceptional service. Breakfast was good!

It was kinda out of the center of places to eat but it wasn’t too far.

Accommodations were clean and free breakfast was nice. Most of the staff members I met were friendly and helpful.

When I arrived, the person checking me in could not find the reservation and told me they were sold out for the night. She seemed to be blaming me, and then went on to blame booking.com for not confirming the reservation with the hotel. I have never had a problem with booking.com so this seemed highly unlikely, and the fact that I produced the email confirmation sent by the hotel thru booking.com was a pretty good indication this wasn't true. After a couple minutes of silence typing on the computer she 'found' a manager's blocked room and in the end it all worked out. But I didn't appreciate the fact that I could have been out of a room because clearly someone at the hotel had screwed up, and the fact that she wasn't very straightforward with me about it.

All the staff was friendly. The breakfast was better than most. All of the self- serve items were replenished in a timely manor. The lobby was clean and the temperature was very comfortable compared to the the outside temperature (80* at 8 in the morning) that day.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the door to the bathroom in our room was coming off of the hinges so we weren’t able to close it. Didn’t affect my family to badly, but it is a double queen room so that would be concerning if there were different guests involved.

extremely clean room. extra precautions were taken to ensure sterile items. perfect for a person with disabilities right off the freeway staff was helpful with a security event.

sound proofing between rooms/floors could be greatly improved. heard every step the floor above us took... into all hours of the night. the shower ran all over the floor due to flimsy shower curtains and no way to close it off.

One of the main reasons why I like staying at hampyou can is for the breakfast the next morning the make your own waffles are the best and it's always clean staff is friendly whenever I stay here

Soda machine next to the ice machine on each floor would be nice

Size of room our stay was very comfortable. The spa bath was fun and relaxing. The price was reasonable. First time staying at a Hampton hotel and I was very pleased with my stay. Simply impressed with size of room and all the extra amenities it had to offer that other hotels don't. Like two separate closets, popcorn, paper towels etc

How hot the hotel is aside from the actual room. Very humid in hallways and elevator.

Location. Easy in and out.

Toilet struggled to flush (have to push down really hard on the handle) and shower struggled to get home. If the bathrooms could be renovated I would give it a 4 star.

Staff extremely cheerful and helpful. Great location with easy access to highway. Liked 24/7 access to water and coffee in the lobby

Hot food was pretty yucky for breakfast. Fitness center limited to one person and very sparse, but I did get in and made the most of it! Also you have to get on the highway to get any good food. Not too much going on in Madera, that is not the fault of the hotel.
