SpringHill Suites by Marriott Madera

It was beautiful and very cozy. Our room was very clean and organized. Everything was in place and in stock.

There wasn’t anything in particular I didn’t like about the property but I think the man at the front desk was kind of rude, and the breakfast could’ve been better but wasn’t too bad.

I was charged for cleaning fee , 😡 Isn't that part of fee when Reservation was made ? It was clean and when I left & only showered , used towels , only & used 1 bed ! I made bed before leaving ! U couldn't tell that I stated there !!

The location, amenities, floor plan, the security, the free breakfast, the comfort, the balcony, the little extras in the kitchen area. Of the different places where I've stayed these last few months, this was the best. Having the Black Bear restaurant next door was great. ☺️

I'm not sure if it was water stains or grime but I saw something under the toilet rim. The bathtub could've been a little bigger.

my daughter had a procedure at the hospital nearby and we loved the right off the freeway access to the hotel.

Only thing I’d change is I’d ask for a room furthest from the freeway. The freeway is really loud, but the balcony door shut the sound out pretty well. It wasn’t a problem for only staying one night.

The tv remote didn’t work quite well and it took a long time to get into Netflix because the buttons had a big lag. Otherwise we had a lovely visit and would def come again. Having the black bear diner next door was awesome! The ability to get some beers and convience items in the lobby was also a nice touch as we needed some milk for our toddler and I wanted a beer haha. Having more of a selection for the beer would be nice. Like some craft ipas but still great job!

The room was well maintained. The bedding was soft and inviting and the bed was comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful, and since we were the last to check in that night, she knew us by name. Kind of sweet.

I loved the proximity to the freeway …. easy on and off, spaciousness of the suite, the balcony, comfortable beds, the absence of the usual big ugly heater, breakfast that could be taken to our room given the current surge of the Omicron variant. It is nicer than the Portland Marriot.

The room was comfortable.

When I walked up to my room the door was wide open propped with a towel. I was very uncomfortable going in so I called the front desk. Maribel did come up and go through the room which I appreciated but that should not happen.

Clean and spacious. Best value for my money. Highly suggest if you are staying 7+ nights book directly through the hotel not thru this website. I saved some bucks by doing that. Amanda is an awesome associate super friendly and helpful!!

The breakfast service was difficult with a long line. One employee was the fastest, most efficient worker, and my husband gave her a $5 tip. But then she traded places with another employee who was very slow and inefficient (did not give any syrup for the French toast).
