The hotel itself has retro European vibes. Decorations are a nice vintage aesthetic. Welcome drinks provided (need an alternative to alcohol though please). Rooms were nice and clean enough. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast provided (a rarity in the USA, so a very welcome touch!) Restaurant is delightful and food is excellent. Bar seemed nice too (I can't drink right now so didn't try it). Parking space provided. The soaps provided smell amazing - likely to order!

The room was quite small, with not a lot of space for our luggage at all. Was 'upgraded' room but not really sure what that meant - they gave us a shared patio space? But the weather was awful so we never used it and they put us right on top of the cocktail bar which played music until 11pm+. Should definitely inform guests that this will happen beforehand. Got a text that the front desk would close at 11 but music was still going on at 11:15 so had no idea what to do. No earplugs provided upon arrival, but after complaining about the music the next day, they gave them to us. It isn't terrible, but I'm pregnant, so free cocktails after to make up for it doesn't help. Guests shouldn't have to go to the bar and ask them when they will close.

The hotel was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. I loved my outdoor fireplace. The location in downtown SLO was perfect — close to everything but still quiet at night. Coffee and continental breakfast was delicious. With only 17 rooms, it felt like a quaint bed and breakfast. And Brayden at the front desk really made my stay special. He was pleasant and accommodating and went out of his wife to be helpful. The restaurant and speakeasy on site were fantastic. Finally free parking and bike usage was a really nice touch.

There was nothing I didn’t like

We loved the breakfast selections, hotel was very quaint and great location! Loved the idea of having the bikes but didn’t get to ride them. loved the brick and style of the rooms! Reminded me of Boston! Right across from Sephora and pottery barn and 10 seconds away from the Thursday evening farmer’s market and lots of restaurants!

The coffee was lukewarm, too pricey, and our room was not ready but gave us two free drink tickets and the two girls were really sweet and one was so cute and bubbly. The sheets also didn’t that well

I used to live in SLO and always wanted to stay at Granada Hotel. I’m happy to report that it lived up to my expectations! The hotel is beautifully designed with an excellent location in downtown SLO. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that there is breakfast included in the room rate, even though this isn’t mentioned on booking.com. The alleyway to the parking lot is small as others have mentioned, but I was able to drive my Toyota Rav4 in and out every day without any issues

The sink in my room was very small so it was difficult to wash my face without getting water everywhere. The rooms are quite dark at night, but I read in the welcome packet that you can request extra lighting from the front desk; I didn’t end up doing that though so can’t give more details

The location was perfect! Walking distance from town and we happened to be there on a Thursday for the Farmer's Market which made the location even better for that!

The parking was small and tight, we did not find a space at the time of our check in. The room was also very small, we hardly found room to put our two suitcases.

Location was great! Staff super helpful and courteous beautiful decor and charming.

Literally the cheapest toilet paper possible. Motel cheap motel toilet paper yet we were paying $600 per night! Really noticeably bad!! Otherwise amenities were fine and it was a nice spot.

This is the best hotel of my trip. Kansas City to Newport Beach, CA then to Northern Calif. Outstanding hotel ... 5 star all the way. Walked in the room and was "blown away" at the amenities, a fire place, awesome shower, sink area was stocked up and beautiful. If your traveling you have to stay here, period.

I liked everything. Top rated hotel ... max stars all the way.

You cannot beat the location if you want to be right in the heart of downtown SLO. This inn is very charming. The bar is great (although we never ate in the restaurant). Bikes are available to cruise around the city, which is a nice bonus.

Wish they had king-sized beds, but that is to be expected at an inn.

the property is very unique and designed beautifully. I love the private upper deck, although there was a private party one evening and we weren’t able to enjoy our evening wine in the open air. the location can’t be beat!

rooms are small and showers are very exposed. if you’re not sharing a room with a significant other, could be awkward.

it was pouring rain, so I can’t tell about the location (just a one night stopover) but there was a nice restaurant which the front desk got us reservations in. the design is really cool- urban hipster meets wild, Wild West bordello! we loved it.

it was quiet, comfortable and rustic chic.
