Holiday Inn Express and Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport West, an IHG Hotel

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I needed to extend my stay by one day and wanted to keep the same room. My request was handled without a problem. I was at the hotel for 4 days and the hot breakfast items were different each day and the other items, including bananas, were more then adequate. The kitchen staff were friendly and great at keeping the dinning area neat and clean. Housekeeping staff were helpful and happy to accommodate our request for fresh towels. Our trip to Fort Lauderdale airport was about 15 minutes, which made me very happy.

The pool is small and located in the parking lot. While I was there only one other person used the pool but I could see how it might get crowded. Also, it would have been nice to have a larger variety of fruit, like apples and melon.

We had a lovely room, good breakfast, Wi-Fi, and free shuttle to hotel. Friendly staff and helpful. We paid for shuttle service to cruise port but was reasonable.

Confusion when shuttle arrived and too many people. One family was left behind. One other thing, you need to call the hotel for free pick-up at the airport. There are no phones to use when you are in the airport. I did not have a cell phone so one kind staff member in the airport called the hotel for me. It was very frustrating and there was no customer service anywhere to ask for help. Very poor service at the airport.

The breakfast was amazing and was well above our expectation for a continental breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and location was convenient. Staff was friendly as well. We will definitely stay here again. Water pressure was amazing. Having complimentary soap was good as well. Air conditioner was quiet. It was a convenient drive to Hard Rock for a concert.

The pool’s location was disappointing, but wouldn’t prevent us from staying again. The bathroom door has an automatic closer.

Property was conveniently located within a few miles to NovaSoutheastern University.

Inadequate parking…Although there is an overflow parking area at the gas station next door it was very uneasy leaving my vehicle parked away from the hotel. Wish hotels would survey properties for adequate parking before building. Also very low quality toilet paper in the rooms. I usually travel with my own and forgot this time. Very low quality one ply paper that tears and leaves debris on you. You have to sponge it off after use. DO BETTER HOLIDAY INN!!

Just about everything . From the coffee in the lobby, the friendly staff including the construction workers to the luxurious beds and bedding, we found the place to be wonderful. Particular mention must be made about Hasina. She manages the breakfast buffet. A real keeper. I don’t know how you found someone who is so pleasant and helpful at 6am. Amazing. Keep up the good work. We will come back .

The parking was challenging. I recommend telling the guests at check in that if there are no parking spots you should get a placard to park at the WaWa.

I usually travel with my gf but I was solo this trip. I can't think of one thing to complain about during my stay. Check-in was a breeze, and the entire staff was courteous and very helpful. The room was great, parking great, the breakfast selection was huge and great food. The hotel is back off the main road in a clean and quiet area. I usually stay in a more expensive hotel when I'm in Fort Lauderdale but now I know I don't have to spend the extra money and I'll have a better stay.

Our stay was one night before our cruise. We have stayed here before. Enjoyed our delicious breakfast before we had to leave! 🤩 The lady managing the breakfast area, was very friendly and helpful! She puts a big smile on your face!

Would like a folder placed in the room showing a few close by restaurants and pizza places that deliver. Would be very helpful for those of us who are hungry and don't know the area.
