Sonder Wellborn

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sonder Wellborn Hotel, and I must say, the management team at this establishment truly knows how to provide exceptional service. The hotel management has clearly put a great deal of thought into the overall guest experience. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, showcasing the hotel's commitment to quality and comfort. The attention to detail in the room design, such as the luxurious furnishings and stylish decor, added a touch of elegance to my stay. I was also impressed with the range of amenities provided by the hotel. One aspect that truly stood out to me was the responsiveness of the management team. Any concerns or inquiries I had during my stay were promptly addressed. Furthermore, the hotel's location was ideal, situated in a convenient and vibrant neighborhood. highly recommend this hotel

I loved the look of the place, the simplicity of checking in. we were able to walk to and from the amway center for a concert easily. took about 20 minutes. the room is super cute.

we stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday night, there was extremely loud music playing until after 1am both nights. making it hard to fall asleep. it was a bummer not having our own fridge in our room, but the shared mini fridge downstairs worked just fine to store a few drinks.

I really loved the open air bar next door - tremendous. I thought the apartment overall was really distinctive and an interest art deco historical place to stay. But I do think the suite could have done with some basic maintenance to bring it up to 21st century standards.

I think this hotel really suffers from a lack of easy access to staff. I found the remote issues I faced, especially with the app, a real problem. If you don't get your tech sorted, then you can't expect to do away with staff without consequences for a guest's overall experience.

We like the area. It's quiet and comfy. Easy check in. No one bothers u. The bar in the back patio is amazing. Great music and good drinks. So relaxing. This was our second time staying here. And was greated with a nice personal note. It's the little things 🤗 Beds are amazing. Great space all around. We love the little porches.

Only thing is the ac is accessable from all guests. Should offer some type of fans in each room. We put it at 73 when we arrived it was 80' and another guest that arrived after us decided that's to cold and put it back to 77. To warm for sleeping in Florida up stairs. That would make it so much more comfortable.🤷🤦🌞😕

Loved the location. Loved the space. It was perfect for a Girls Day Out rendezvous.

The refrigerator in room 304 needs replacing. Freezer didn't work at all. Could use black out curtains in all windows of the living room. The room is very light because of outside lighting bleeding in. A fan or two wouldn't hurt as there are no ceiling fans. The man at "the bar" is very rude and made sure we didn't think it was OK to "hang" in the courtyard and that was disappointing, we went to the lake across the street instead. He said that area was not part of the hotel.

We were transferred to The Point Hotel because of hurricane Ian. We spent the first 4 nights in a room with wet carpets, nobody cleaned or came for help until we met the manager on the elevator by chance. We talked to him and showed him the room and he changed us to another clean room and order a refund. Thanks to the manager we could sleep in a clean room the last night of ourstay in Orlando.

The staff asked us $60 to clean, they said they had nothing to do with Sonder.

People pretty much kept to themselves. Very private experience and it was a nice clean room. Fast instructions as well considering there's no front desk to check in at.

No smoking facility. No smoking on the property but yet its connected to a bar/restaurant here you're aloud to smoke? It made no sense. Also this bar/restaurant had about 4 cocktails and 4 "finger food" choices when I thought I could catch a nice dinner and a full liquor bar.

Me and my partner were in love with how cozy and well put together this hotel was!! We loved the high technology treatment getting everything done via the app, no worries about checking in and out on the time requested, everything could be arranged to accommodate our needs. We had help online 24/7 via the app! The rooms were lovely and the bar/restaurant just behind it was very handy and fun for all meals and late drinks!

I thought it was a bit over priced, considering that there was no staff working 24/7. But it had it’s charm the rooms and house so I guess we were paying for how unique the place is.

We chose to spend our wedding night at the Wellborn because our first date was at the Wellborn. It was our first time staying at the hotel and the room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the vintage and unique vibe of the room. What we love the most is that music was off by 11 pm so we actually could sleep and rest after our wedding night :) thank you for such beautiful place!

I loved everything about it, I loved the mixture of modern and art deco. The area was great and near everything I had planned. The staff is amazing, communication was impeccable.

I only wish they had more hooks for towels in BR..but it's the smallest of things
