Marriott Orlando Downtown

Most everything was as expected. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. The employees we encountered were very amenable. It was a nice stay.

Everything was fine except for the restaurant. My other family members had to catch a plane and when we went down for breakfast, we waited over 1 hour before we were served. There was only one other table besides us and our server forgot to put the order in. And then we waited some more. The order wasn't complicated. (2 bagels, one yogurt and one scrambled egg plate) We almost had to get up to leave. I know help is hard to find, but the training should have been better for the workers there.

Everything was great but the resturant in hotel.

We were down for football game resturant was to close at 11. We got a table at 10:27 and was told they closed in 15min ordered food at 10:30 food was at table at 12. No drinks and food was cold didnt eat and went back to room. Bill was over $120 and left complete on table.

I requested a room for early arrival if possible and they had the room ready. Clean room and nice view from the 12th floor. Very quiet. Location is at W Livingston & Hughey. We walked to/from the McCartney concert at Camping World. 1.6miles and no issues walking back at 1130p. There are personnel that ride the 'bicycle taxis'. They will take you to the hotel. Great after a concert as they are the only mode of transport that can get around. Close to Church St. Station. Personnel were accommodating and friendly.

Housekeeping barged right through our door and giggled when they saw what “state” we were in. They saw us walk in so there was no reason for them to come into our room. Lesson learned…always put the extra locks on no matter what. Also, the info on the tv about checkout time needs to be updated. we weren’t told at checkin so we assumed it was 12. Lesson #2….verify details at desk

Vanessa was super friendly and got us checked in and was very helpful the following day as well. The night shift Makayla (maybe wrong spelling) working at the front desk attended to our needs even late night. We ended up using a late check out and housekeeping came around early but Maria was supper friendly and accommodating when we needed to stay in the room longer.

The most comfortable room I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was amazing with a variety of options. It was super convenient having a starbucks in the lobby. The pool area was great. Valet staff was very friendly

The internet went out a couple times, but I don't know if that was an issue with my personal laptop or the internet

The breakfast was excellent as we ordered from a menu. There wasn't free breakfast and we knew that when we booked. The staff was courteous and professional except for the night staff that checked us in. Room was exceptional.

Parking was $28 per night or in the parking lot next door for $20 per night. The night staff checking us in was somewhat rude when I said we asked and were told parking was free. He said that's what happens when you use 3rd party booking. He was not real friendly.

Everything was great from the check-in process to the check-out process. Dinner at Shades was excellent and the pool was very refreshing!

Everything was great with the exception on Saturday afternoon I expected to find a hair dryer in the bathroom when I got our of the shower. Surprisingly, there wasn't one so I had to call down 3x. Once an hour went by I gave up and attended the wedding with frizzy hair. Not very happy about that. No compensation was given when I checked out either :(

room was well appointed and had all the necessary tools.

the remote for the TV was difficult to use the buttons needed to be pressed and the automatic shut-off was annoying. It was difficult to cut off and I had to restart Netflix in the middle of a movie. . the shower is too strong and bulky. it easily makes the floor wet. Pool needs renovation.

The room was clean, the bathroom/shower was AMAZING. Location was good, quiet area, but close to where I needed to be to see the basketball game.

Checking in was not good because I could not check in until 4pm. Both ladies at the front desk where not that personable. Valet parking necessary when the city parking lot is right there?
