Hampton Inn & Suites Ypsilanti, MI

Clean, safe, spacious room, quality bed linens, great big TV that showed "Welcome Marilyn", when I walked into our room. There was a frig and microwave, both clean and in good working order. We plan to be in the area again in a few days, so I will give them another try.

The breakfast was sub-par from many other Hampton Inn's we have stayed in. The waffle irons were not working and the oatmeal in the crockpot was cold at 8am. The muffins were stale and the few yogurt cups were not refilled when empty.

Really like the room set up. Very comfortable beds. The guy when we checked-in was 5 STAR quality. The woman working who was trying to handle setting up bfast helped me get something printed. Great lady.

Rm 204 is behind the elevators and so floor and then also the beds 'vibrate' constantly. Feels like you are sitting in a car on the highway. Not relaxing. The woman who was suppose to be working at the desk in the morning was curled up with a blanket, head back snoring in the office.

The property was absolutely amazing and very clean.

The female mgr on duty at the time of check in was not cooperative when not being able to find my reservation information. She was very short and did not try finding another solution. I had to call Booking.com in order to get my reservation straightened out...

Location was great. We were there for Parent Weekend for U of M. All the other hotels closest to campus were booked. This was only a 10 min. drive, right off the express way. The rooms were updated and clean, with a microwave and fridge. Bathroom was large and bright. Front desk gentleman was very friendly and accomodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone needing a place to stay in this area.

The room was very clean and comfy. The facilities had a lot to offer.

I wish the breakfast had been a little better. It wasn't bad, just a little boring. It was weird we couldn't turn on the bathroom light without turning on the entryway light? Just a little thing but it was awkward having to wake people my partner up.

Clean, comfy bed, pleasant decor and furnishings. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, but as in all things, high calorie offerings are pretty standard in the USA. Not easy for a vegetarian, but that's pretty standard as well.

My only complaint was the high intensity of the lighting in the rooms and common areas. I suffer from sensitivity to light.

The gentleman who checked us in was very professional and friendly. There was hot coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times. The room and bathroom was clean and nice. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Good location to fly out of DTW without being right at the airport.

We had a morning flight out of DFW and unfortunately breakfast was not available early enough for us. We had to ask for extra towels, the bathroom only had enough for 2, not a family of 4. Plenty of parking in front of hotel entrance.

You'd be grasping at straws trying to find something wrong with your stay at this property. It is fairly new and very clean. The staff were professional and polite. And the breakfast had several choices. Also the parking lot was well lit and maintained due to the wintery conditions at the time.

We had a great experience staying.here. front desk was super nice. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean.

Too much chlorine in the pool.

Nice area. Close enough to city, but not right downtown, so it was quiet. Right off the freeway, without the freeway noise.

The clerk that checked us in didn't seem to know how to work the key card machine. Then when he did get it working, he only set our key for one night, instead of the entire stay. Which meant multiple trips to the front desk.
