Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ann Arbor

Very clean. Above-average breakfast included. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker were an unexpected bonus. Ample parking. Nice friendly staff. Great price for this area. The room was well arranged for such a small space. Armoire/closet was a perfect size. Nice little desk area with chair. HVAC system worked great, consistently perfect temperature. Loved the upholstered window seat ledge with additional deep bucket drawers built-in underneath.

They could use more signage to direct people to their location as it is quite set back behind a maze of other larger hotels and office buildings. You can see the Microtel from the highway but getting there is a bit of a challenge. Room was small and could have used another electrical outlet and lighting on the window side of the bed (where the refrigerator and microwave were).

This Microtel has had a wonderful refresh. The rooms are up-to-date, the bed is wonderfully comfortable, and the cleaning crew is exceptional. Not only was my room sparkling clean, but so was the lobby. Immediately at the end of breakfast, they cleaned the entire area. During the week there is a shuttle to take you around town, a couple of excellent grocery stores (Busch's & Plum Market), several eateries including Panera Bread, and public transportation a few minutes walk away. Exceptional value for the money!

My wife booked this hotel when we were both planning on staying there. Our plans changed and I ended up staying at the hotel with a friend instead. My wife had booked a room with a single queen bed. This was not adequate under the changed circumstances. My wife called the hotel and spoke with Joy at the desk. We asked for a room with a sofa bed. Joy happily booked us in another room with 2 queen beds without an upcharge. What incredible customer service! Thank you, Joy! We certainly plan to stay at this hotel when we are in town in the future. I highly recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was great.

It was great overall. I had to stay an extra day and the hotel gave me the same low rate, which I really appreciated. Also, the hotel was close to markets and restaurants within walking distance.

The refrigerator was next to the bed and was a little loud which I know could not be helped, but I unplugged it when it was not in use and that solved the problem. Other than that, it was a great experience.

the property is located in an very quiet area and close to shops and few places to eat or takeaway . the staff are extremely friendly and helped at anything that was asked of them . the shuttle bus service was fantastic

i just filled one day the housekeeping fell below the standard of all the other days but plenty of soap and shower gel and clean towels always provided

The hotel is very nice. Comfortable room. Close to U of M Hospital which is why we were there. Most of the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast they offer is very good. I would go back in the future because it is so close to the hospital.

When I booked the room on booking.com, the price was lower than what I ended up paying at checkout. Felt like it was a bait and switch kind of deal, but it is what it is for a night stay.

The room is very cozy and clean. It is very quiet. No loud air conditioning noise. The car alarm in the parking lot even sounded faint. Parking was free and easy. There are plenty of spots. It's a real smoking free facility. My daughter and I like it very much.

The breakfast space is limited. So are the varieties of food. But you get what you paid for.

Liked that we were given a free upgrade because of the really small size of the first room and my partner's foot.

The Marijuana smell for 2 days even though we asked the front desk about it 3 times. This was over a weekend. When the manager returned on the Monday the problem was addressed immediately. Also, you might consider changing the breakfast - 4 days of the same was a bit much.

Comfortable with room, TV, microwave oven, fridge with elevator as means of going to and from room. Overall, small but clean facilities. Amenities are complete and good here for my wife and me.

Came across rude foreign students who also stayed here as residents during breakfast (might be U. of Michigan newcomers). They tried to cut in right in front of me as I was trying to acquire hot water and other items. I became upset. Maybe front office clerk or concierge could help by asking there newcomers to respect other residents. Very simple breakfast - continental except for hot cakes. Small breakfast dining space given the numerous residents during late August.

Had an early morning medical appointment and the Microtel was literally 3 minutes away.

we couldn’t get the tv to work. called the front desk, they were willing to send someone up, but it was already late. Maintenance came up in the morning and found the problem, but we were checking out..
