Hampton Inn & Suites Albany-East Greenbush, NY

Our room 414 was clean and roomy as it was a handicap fitted room. It is across the hall from the elevator and ice vending and you would never no it. The breakfast was excellent. A little something for everyone. The help was visible at every station. Pool was clean and towels available. Outside patio was well equipped with plenty of room for enjoyment.

Our room, 414 was clean until you looked under the first bed where you would see a plastic Poland Springs water bottle and under the second bed you would see two orange ball like toys. Other than they are not vacuuming under the beds I believe the room to be clean. The faucet was missing or the tightening nut was loose. What we didn't like is the fact that you have to request housekeeping. COVID is over and we shouldn't have to ask for what should be a basic expectation. You should be able to opt out of housekeeping if you are one of those that drive around alone with a mask on.

The stay was quite pleasant but I'm not sure why I payed $201.00 for the night when I was told $143.00 so I would like an explanation but I probably won't get one. Besides being charged $51 more than I should have payed, everything else was great! Would definitely stay again but the price is simply outrageous if ya ask me especially considering the location.

As someone who cannot eat gluten or dairy, most hotel breakfasts are not for me, but I love the availability of hard boiled eggs and fruit at Hampton that allows me to have a safe and healthy breakfast. The staff create a very friendly and inviting atmosphere at the East Greenbush, NY Hampton Inn making it a great place to stay. Chose this hotel because it has an electric charger available.

Facility was exceptionally clean. Front desk staff was friendly & accommodating. Breakfast area was well-stocked & maintained.

We were awakened two nights in a row by extremely loud noise from the room above us. Either the National Bowling Team was practicing for a tournament @2am or there was an Irish Step Dancing Troup up there!

The breakfast was delicious. My sister in laws and I were chatting away up until breakfast ended, and the woman cleaning up asked us if we wanted anything else before she closed it all up which I thought was sweet that she didn't just rush us out. I also am hobbling around on crutches, and staff asked if I needed help bringing items back and forth, asked what happened, and wished me a speedy recovery. I was just overall happy with the staff, rooms (we booked two), and atmosphere.

There was nothing I think that needs improving.

Limited internet service unless you register with the Hilton chain. If you do they will never leave you in peace. Breakfast room is small. When we were there they had a group of young ladies (10 year old?) with their parents (some competition). They were cute and lovely but the noise!!!!!! .

The location was good, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The carpet wasn’t clean in places and there were odd black lint like things (not bugs!) in one of the beds which was just weird, almost like the sheets weren’t changed.

The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel of this class. Great choices. Everything was clean and neat. It was very comfortable. The cable had the best selection of channels I've seen of any hotel.

I don't care for "barn doors" to the bathroom. However, the bathroom had a full tube and was very nice. I don't like to go through hoops to sign in to the wifi system.

Very impressive! The front desk administrator was exceptional: very professional, informative, and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, clean, and I loved that the thermostat was adjustable! My daughter and I enjoyed the heated, in-door pool and all those extra towels. All and all, just an incredibly pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hotel. ps. Bonus: The location is close to major retailers and restaurants, which was a plus for us.

I can't think of anything! We loved our stay.

The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable!! My son and I overslept and got down for breakfast right at 10am. The staff was very pleasant. We grabbed a little food quick to take back to our room. I liked that I could precheck-in and could just drop our room keys in a box on the way out.
