Hampton Inn & Suites By Hilton - Rockville Centre

The staff was very friendly. The man who checked us in was really nice. We were there for a concert and when we came back from it he was still working and asked us how it was while we walked by. The room was also a really good size and was nice and clean. It was also nice to have free parking.

The shower was a little weird. All 3 of us had a different issue with it. I took a shower first and I had to turn the faucet over to the cold side to get heat and vice versa. Then for the next person the shower actually got cold on the cold side so it was the exact opposite for her. And then the last person had an issue with it being too hot. It wasn't that bad. It was actually rather funny to me that the shower changed for all of us.

It is the second time we stay in this hotel. Convenient location next to a highway, and there is a big grocery store next to the hotel. The rooms and the breakfast area are so clean. The staff was polite and friendly. The breakfast was decent: omelet, sausage, fruits, breads/bagels, waffles. We stayed there just for 1 night. We also liked the mattress on the bed. Safe neighbourhood. I highly recommend this hotel.

Some noise in the rooms due to the location (it is between a railway and a highway). Not too much, and especially in the night it gets quieter. We were also so tired that after we slept, we didn't hear anything.

The breakfast was typical for a Hampton Inn, that being said, breakfast as part of the stay is always a win. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff gave me an extra box of tissue as I was having a really bad allergy attack previous to my arrival. This location and hotel will now be our go to when in the area. 10/10 recommend.

Usually when there are positives to a room, there's negative as well. The only thing that would have made our room better was the train was right near our room so that was a bit noisy but I do realize that it's no fault or reflection on the Hampton Inn.

Almost all of the staff were friendly and helpful. One person stood out in particular - Jason. He was above and beyond friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant.

We have stayed at the hotel at least 4-5 times since our family live nearby. Our main criticism in the breakfast. It is fine but it's been the exactly same thing for the past 6 years. A little variety may be nice. Also, a cappuccino machine would be great. the prices also have gone up a lot over the years.

The room was a deluxe room that was exceptionally nice, however, the traffic outside on an over pass was very noisy. This noise made it difficult to sleep. Also, the hotel interior walls are thin, and we could hear the phone conversations, TV, and snoring of the room immediately next door. These noises woke us up each night. The bed was comfortable at least! The staff was extra friendly and pleasant! I was quite happy with the front desk staff!

Breakfast could have been much better. For the high price I paid for my 6 night stay, I would have liked a much better breakfast, and a less noisy room!

The interior room was beautiful. The style and interior design just as advertised - the bed was comfortable and chaise in room was perfect. The bathroom with shower amazing! The lobby and atrium where breakfast was served was truly exceptional. Parking area well lit and close. Very nice!

The brick wall that was my view was unexpected and surprising considering the cost of the room. For almost $300.00 a night I should see something… even a view of the highway or the parking lot? The brick wall was so close that nothing else was visible but the wall. Nothing. I was not there for anything but sleeping and spent the entire 2 days and most evenings away With family so I left the curtains drawn. This was unacceptable for $300. a night. I decided it was not worth making a fuss to get another room since I would not be in the room except at night to sleep. However, the front desk certainly knew what room they were giving me… wonder why? Humm?

First time staying at this Location and it wont be the last. The staff is very professional and yet super friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff goes above and beyond to assist the guests with a beautiful smile. The room was very spacious and the facility overall very well kept. Thank you for the great hospitality and customer service.

I was unable to use my senior and AARP discounts because of the so-called third party registration, a bummer! The shower fixture needs some work to operate and the bath tub is a little slippery.

I am someone who just had my wedding this past weekend and I used The Hampton Inn at Rockville Center for my weeding block for both myself and out of town guests. I said it all weekend in person and I'll say it here - I was overjoyed and overwhelmed with how awesome this hotel was. From the beginning, Christie was AWESOME in helping to arrange a block of rooms (and then rescheduling it), answering questions throughout about who had booked, reserving a breakfast/brunch room for the day after the wedding, and of course for carrying it all through. She made sure we had the largest room/suite available for the bridesmaids to get ready in, and upgraded my dad's room and the grooms getting-ready room at checkin to very large, comfortable, quiet, dark rooms stocked with everything we need. The coordinated distribution of welcome bags for my guests and were extremely friendly throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!!

I wish so badly there was a hotel bar/ better food here. We went and brought supplemental breakfast items for the guests for the morning after the wedding. It would've been nice to have a bar to hang out at.
