Location price and availability. Rooms are big and spacious. Ice machines and vending machines all work well. Optional laundry is also available.
It’s a hit or miss about the cleaning. Some of the room have air conditioners that should be replaced. Some of towels should be thrown away and replaced.

Muriel in the elevator, it was a beautiful picture of New York City. It even made me smile. I just wanted to take out my camera and take a picture. I also like the sink and how it was set up. I am tall and it was very convenient to use.
The YooHoo container that was in the window seal on the fourth floor was there when I checked in and it was there when I checked out which tells me no one cleans up by the elevator. The common area can't be sanitized as per covid-19 guidelines if a juice box, yoohoo container stayed in the location the entire weekend. The container is probably still there.....please go check 🤷🏾♀️

Clean rooms, good service, friendly staff. We're staying here everytime we drive to New York (several times a year).
Elevators are very very very slow. Sometimes it's easier to take stairs. Last time we stayed here the fire alarm triggered in the middle of the night. So we spent around 40 mins outside sitting in our car between 2am and 3am waiting for when they figure out how to turn that alarm off. But the hotel is not to blame, probably some idiot just decided to smoke in his room.

The location, plenty of stores and restaurants are within driving distance. The staff is friendly, efficient and accommodating. It has non-smoking rooms only and is pet friendly. The landscaping/flowers are attractive.

Common areas are run down and elevator was really dirty on the floor. Was expensive but expected for the area.

Location was great.
Other guest did not respect property by smoking cannabis. Witness guest being rude and disrespectful towards concierge. Security needed. Rooms that were rented were not clean fully. One room sink was not fully cleaned and the other room bathroom toilet was not fully cleaned as well. Shelf Repairs needed under where sink is 525 and shelf chips in 528.

The rooms were clean. The facility was clean also. Not a lot of traffic
One of the staff members was not personable. Spoke to me in a condescending tone. I had accidentally booked my room twice she was obviously annoyed and did not hide it. Other than that the rest of the staff was great and my stay was great too
