Hampton Inn & Suites Boone, Nc

The room was clean and the staff was attentive. Molly checked everyday thru text to see if we needed anything and if there was anything she could do to improve/better our stay. She gave suggestions to problems, was kind, empathetic, and considerate. Due to medical problems I was unable to lay flat in a bed and the chaise was hard and very uncomfortable to sit on and impossible to sleep on. Molly had additional comforters and bedding sent up soften the chaise to see if it could be made more comfortable to sleep on. It worked. Although not idea it was tolerable for the short term.

I booked a handicap accessible room but found that the only thing different was bars in the shower/tub combo. I needed an ADA toilet and a roll in/ step-in shower would have been preferable. Molly offered to change our room but the other room wasn't much different. They sent up a toilet extender and a shower chair. These things both helped but the set was wobbly and neither device was clean.....they were a little dusty. They were also older models. I've stayed in hotels that had ADA toilets and roll-in / step-in showers in handicap accessible rooms and was supprised it was not adoption here.

The room was very comfortable and had a lovely view. Amenities were excellent - fridge in room, ice machine, clean bedding, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Front desk staff were outstanding - hospitable (with a smile and positive demeanor) and responsive to requests. The gift bag upon arrival was a nice extra touch. The cookies as well. The breakfast was excellent. There was a lot of variety to suit every taste. The breakfast staff was constantly monitoring the amount of food and cleanliness of area.

The shower in the room - faucet continued to let out water while shower was on, which brought down the water pressure.

Breakfast was great. Food was fresh, and delectable. Coffee was fresh and well stocked with cups, creamers, etc. We enjoyed a western omelet with salsa on the side, sausage links, toast, juice, and coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very inviting and relaxed atmosphere...peaceful.

The coffee pot in our room did not work. We requested a new one and desk clerk promptly delivered a brand new one to our room. Normally, there is creamer packets in the room along with coffee, but not at this hotel. We had to get creamer from lobby. Slight inconvenience.

Everything & everyone was great. staff was friendly & accommadating. rooms were clean & comfy. no noises or problems, except pool.

It was great, except the "heated" pool was Not warm enough. We stayed 3 days and tried it on 2 different evenings, but it was too cold to swim. What is the point in advertising a heated pool, if the water is not warm enough to swim in. Sadly disappointing, especially for the price.

Everyone there was so sweet and kind! My husband had paid for our trip as an anniversary present....my husband passed away from cancer before we were able to go on the trip. My daughter and her family went with me on the trip so I wouldn't be alone! Hampton Inn staff were so thoughtful to make this trip not so hard! I would stay here always!!!!

I was greeted by Isaac at check in who made me feel welcome and was very friendly and accommodating. At breakfast, Mary was the attendant in the dining area. She was very pleasant to talk with and she took extra care in making sure all of the tables were clean and no one needed anything. I felt like I was staying at a home away from home. Great staff - great stay - great location! Hampton Inn Is where I tell everyone to stay when they visit Boone!

That there was not a jacuzzi in the pool area.

The room was spacious and clean. Everything in the room worked well and the little additions were nice.

The room was noisy. Very. First floor on the end of the hall facing the front side (the street). We heard cars and trucks non stop. Guests were constantly slamming the exit door and yelling down the hallway. It was tough getting good rest this way.

Beautiful, clean and modern. Comfortable bed, nice size room. Loved, loved, loved the privacy door to the sink area that could be closed so not to wake anyone else in the room. Great shower! Plentiful breakfast both hot and cold items always stocked full of food not like another big hotel chain that left us wondering why their food items were so limited and meager.

The pull out sofa bed was great to have but not comfortable at all. Could feel every spring. I definitely think the sofa bed needs to be upgraded to match the quality of the rest of the room.

Balcony, view, clean, customer service was outstanding! Great staff, everyone made you feel welcome and ready to help. The gentleman who checked us in should get a award for his great personality and service. I told him we were tired from traveling and heading for bed, he started singing Mr. Sandman…lol

We would have liked a bath tub in the room. Needs a hot tub by the pool.

The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable and the hot breakfast was good. We also enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit in the evening and relaxing as a peaceful way to wind up the day.

We didn't get in the "heated" pool because once when we went down to check it out and maintenance was working in the door area to enter the pool so we opted to wait until later in the evening. When we went back later and felt of the water temperature it was very cold so we didn't get in at all. Also the water pressure went way down to almost nothing right after I got in the shower and got my wash cloth wet. I yelled out through the door and had my friend check the water pressure in the sink and it was very weak also. We called the front desk and, they had neglected to tell us that they were doing a state required water pressure test at that time. It worked out ok. but it would have been nice to have had a heads up before hand.
