Cliff Dwellers Inn

It’s cute and quaint. The room was lovely and comfy. It was quiet and pleasant overall (although the folks next door were a bit loud the next morning). It has free Wi-Fi with very good cable channels…great movies and TV shows. A very convenient location with restaurants, shopping center, and a lake right across from the inn. It was rainy this weekend so we will take a walk over there next time we visit.

The continental breakfast needs much improvement. It’s not difficult to offer a more appealing breakfast…just more effort is needed.

It's a great location, and our room was huge and beautiful! The young lady in the office was nice. Loved the day lilies growing outside the huge bay window! First room I've ever had with enough pillows! Ice was placed in our room for us before we got there. It's the little things that make you feel good, but that BIG BED!!!!

Breakfast is tiny and only available for little more than an hour. Woman's dog kept barking at me! But, I couldn't hear it in my room.

Room was great, staff very friendly and it was easy to locate. We arrived prior to our check in time and they accommodated us immediately with access to our room. Bed was SUPER comfortable

The provide dishes, utensils, etc. in the kitchen and there were plates in the cupboard that were greasy and a little dirty. The countertop also needed a wipe as it was sticky in spots,. But these things are minor and everything else was great!

The room was awesome, very clean, manager was very polite and friendly.just a very nice , romantic, atmosphere. Diffently will stay again.thank you for making our visit enjoyable.

My wife and I loved the whole experience, NO complaints. It was a beautiful stay, we will always stay there, no where else.

The bed was comfortable and the room was large. The place is very quaint and peaceful. The room was clean and well kept. It was a very attractive room as well that was very comfortable to stay in. I will stay here again.

The drink machine had no diet options and I had to go out to buy drinks. The room has a fridge but it is a bit small. It will hold drinks but not much else.

This property is an older property but very clean and well maintained. Quiet and relaxing with a good view of a park with lake and mountains. Friendly staff.

Office staff didn't open until 9 am. If eating breakfast had to wait. Office staff was doing rooms, cleaning. You had to call them for assistance with things! No office staff at night!

No breakfast due to covid. The housekeeper was very nice and helpful when I needed additional towels. Dated furniture but clean and bed was very comfortable. It was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed our time away. We would recommend it to others. We might come back after covid so we can eat breakfast there too.

There wasn't a battery in the smoke detector. It was open so maybe they were going to get one. The gas fireplace didn't work. The young man who checked us in didn't return my call when I had a question about the TV not working. It gave us a message to call the office for help with wifi. When I checked out he was on his cell phone looking at something and barely looked up but he did speak to me. Kids today! Haha

we go there day before bomb cyclone hit and temps were 30 below zero windchill. impossible to get out. Darren the manager was absolutely the best trying to keep us comfortable. Views were beautiful and room was fantastic with good heat until the power went out for several hours. We went at a bad time as to weather but we were comfortable

The staff member who checked us in was very friendly and gave his advice about restaurants in the area. The water pressure was great and plenty of hot water was available. The view from our room to the town below was great.

Having nobody at the office when we arrived to check in and again when we checked out. The deadbolt lock on the door was not able to be locked from the outside.

The staff was very professional and friendly, the room was very clean especially for an older facility, and the location was excellent in respect to both Blowing Rock and Boone.

For an older mountain feel property, I think it met my expectations or above. Continental breakfast options could be improved slightly.
