Courtyard by Marriott Scranton Montage Mountain

The hotel was incredibly nice for the price we paid. Very clean hotel room, shower was powerful, recently redone, and very quick to warm up. Overall site was organized, well kept and presented well. However, the best part of the experience was the front desk employee Amanda. I had asked for a special request to "make me laugh, I don't care what" and she came through! I had forgotten about it and they left the cutest towel man in our bed, with a wine glass and a shot glass, which was hilarious! Amanda was very personal, friendly, and refreshing after a long drive late at night! She gave a good restaurant recommendation and was full of wonderful dad jokes! After hearing how we liked them, she even slipped one under our door at some point during her shift, which was absolutely wonderful. Amanda is awesome!

Site did not have continental breakfast - that's really the only con. I'd certainly suggest having it.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Need better service at the Bistro Bar. Counter left unattended for long periods of time. I waited 10 minutes to be waited on, then waited 40 minutes to receive egg sandwich while there was only one other table there who had been served. Many people left after waiting for attendant. Coffee creamer and milk containers both empty.

Professional shampoo in room, hotel near empty my son had the pool to himself. Nothing over the top fancy but would highly recommend for a budget hotel with some perks! Fire pit seating area outside, no views .. to be expected in this area. Close to shops restaurants n move theater if needed. Served it’s purpose, great staff!

Pool needs some work, but it’s safe and clean. tiny hot tub but empty pool area anyway.

The staff was extremely helpful and very nice the room was exceptional, the location is nicely tucked away. Would definitely stay here in the future. The price was a little more then the surrounding others but for the cleanliness and staff well worth the rest. One thing we didnt get to enjoy was the fire pit out side and the indoor pool due to covid but safety first for ourselves and others, there was no breakfast or even coffee in the lobby but if needed in your room it was very available. Jamaal was the most fun and enjoyable for the staff employees. Will definitely stay again

The amenities on site and cleaning staff were exceptional.

That a manager was not on site or made available when I arrived and had an issue that the front desk was unable to assist with.

The balcony room with a view was beautiful! And the bed was so comfortable I almost didn’t want to get up! Location was perfect; restaurants and shopping center right around the corner.

Breakfast was fair; service was good.

Clumps of loose hair on the bathroom floor. Not sure it was swept for awhile. Had to use a hair dryer to clear bathroom floor.

Very clean, modern room. Comfortable. Lobby area had great seating and ambiance. Fire pit out back was an added bonus!

Pricing on food was a bit high to me.

I loved the location, it’s a very quiet place exactly what I was looking for. The staffs were very friendly and professional as well. I will highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient to I-81, nice shopping close by as well a decent places to eat.

Very loud music could be heard in my room until midnight.
