Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre - East Mountain, an IHG Hotel

I like the staff, specially Carriann , she is professional and and she was nice with us. .. I like the hot tub, the pool, and the beautiful view from my room, and I really love the room that we stayed in.. The room were very big, clean and beautiful.

I didn't like that when I reserved the hotel it says that we got free breakfast, but we really didn't. I also didn't like that the guess next door they were yelling like crazy in the night time also in the Morning time, and I didn't like that the restaurant inside the hotel opens at 4pm.

Room was a nice size. Comfortable bed with fresh sheets. Clean bathroom. Tv and internet worked well. Breakfast was very nice with several choices. You also had the option of ordering from the menu although we didn't. The lady in charge of the breakfast was very nice. We liked being able to have dinner in the hotel so we didn't have to go out again once we were settled in our room. My husband liked the exercise facility and said the pool looked really nice although we didn't use it. There was a nice landscaped area in the back with a firepit. We were able to stay twice--once on the way to Boston and again on our way back home.

My recent stay at the hotel for a photoshoot was truly exceptional. The spacious and well-designed areas provided the perfect backdrop for our shots, allowing us to capture stunning images effortlessly. The convenience of having a bar 🍸 in the evening was a delightful surprise, and the option to enjoy drinks on the outdoor patio by the fire pit added a touch of coziness to the experience. The breakfast 😋 offered in morning was a delicious way to start the day, rounding off a memorable stay that seamlessly combined comfort, convenience, and great photography opportunities.

That "Booking" shows a Executive King Room with room details of a King Suite. They need to take that picture down because it's misleading. The separate living room is for the KING SUITE only.

Very easy check in with a friendly front desk employee. The room itself was VERY clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable and the shower had hot water!! Lol. Easily the cleanest room we have ever stayed in! The only thing that was missing was a mini fridge and microwave, but no big deal for us since it was just a quick overnight to sleep.

The room was well set. I love the decor and the comfortabilty of the room very nice. The staff was great . The supervisor was phenomenal he checked us in and was very nice and well spoken.

In the shower down by the glass door there was mold or dirt 🤔. It looks more like mold . The bathroom was beautiful I loved everything about the room except what I saw while I was taking a shower. I will most definitely stay again . I am upset about the shower and oh I forgot. My daughter said there were spider webs up in the corner on the right side of the bed. It looks like dirt or mold as well. Hopefully the next time I go there those problems would be fixed. When u pay money like that you want your room to be in top shape. 😏. I will stay again. This is one of my favorite places to stay overall. Never had that problem before. My last thing is the hot tub was out of order. And I live the hot tub. So I gave this place a 8

Nice off the path great view location. The bistro was a bumpin spot and you still could go out front and enjoy the sound of nature like the hillbilly front porch.

Elevator was an all night problem. I would hope the room like the one I was in don't have any customers till it's fixed. Was on the 4th floor right around the corner from it and the motor would scream through the wall.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and located near many attractions. Pool was open as well as the restaurant. An added bonus was a nice fire pit outside. Great value for your money.

Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water with an excellent shower head, attentiveness of all staff starting from checking in to checking out. The location is terrific! We have stayed with this Holiday Inn the most in the area & yes we have checked out many other hotels in the area as well. This is one of the ones that we always try to book first & that should say something about this place.

They could leave an extra set of towels in the room and their bathroom stall needs some attention.

euphoric i felt the want to stay and shove my real life a side and take part of something bigger that is happening in front of me .. The view , The clean room < the small soaps and beautifully lit room . Clean hallways and the staff helping out made the whole experience so smooth .. The breakfast was not too much not too little but just right. the season spring is a good fit for a get away i will continue to explore with this chain in my heart i trust the next one will meet my expectations as well cause the price was so low i didnt see a bit difference in budget the beds were so comfortable it made me want to buy a new mattress .. lol

I didnt like the fact that I had to leave and I didnt have enough time to explore all the things they offered at this spot. I traveled with my 7 year old and there was no channels for children it was more adult cartoons than expected and the movies offered had prices I would never pay
