Holiday Inn Express Wilkes Barre East, an IHG Hotel

Efficient service; breakfast variety; quiet surroundings. We have been here a number of times before and probably will be back when we visit family again.

Beds are a bit difficult to get in. Seems the mattresses are rather thick. Closet is in an inconvenient spot. No major problems.

My room at the Holiday Inn Express Wilkes Barre East was very clean and was air conditioned. The bed was comfortable. I slept well. The bathroom was clean. Everything was orderly in my room. The breakfast here was terrific. Combination of hot and cold breakfast items, including cheese omelet and sausage and biscuits. I did not expect such a good breakfast. I was only here for one night to see the Alabama concert, but I will definitely return here, probably for another concert. One thing I want to mention is I did not know my way around the area. I did not know where the hotel was, and I finally called the hotel. I spoke to Mike, who stayed on the phone with me and gave me directions. I couldn't thank him enough. I continued to get lost, and couldn't find my way back to the hotel from the Arena. Again, I called the hotel and spoke to a man (I didn't get his name) and he stayed on the phone with me to guide me back to the hotel. Your staff is friendly and terrific. I enjoyed my stay!

not the ritz but i was comfortable here. Linel at the front desk is an absolute pleasure. he accommodated my needs professionally and efficiently, a wonderful asset to this establishment.

it’s a little dark throughout the building. could use more natural lighting.

Concierge was great. Was traveling with neighbors and he put us next door to each other. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Great coffee. Bathroom was dated. Otherwise the room was nice.

They were renovating and it wouldn't be fair to be picky.

The staff member on duty when we arrived at 10:30 pm was just excellent. Rooms were comfy and clean. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast was very nice and well displayed.

The rooms are quite dated. TV was sort of a pain to get to the TV channels. More furniture showed its age with missing paint and dents. No plugs for phone charging. Still a comfy stay…but time for a refresh for sure.

Staff friendly and attentive. Room was dirty was told there weren’t any rooms available and had to down size from suite to regular double room. Space was tight

Had a problem about my room but Iet the nice ladies and the gentleman at the desk know and they fixed it real quick

Wonderful staff greeted us with cold water and were happy to help us check easily and helped with anything we needed. Nice clean room, would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Dated. Dead bugs in the bathroom ceilings ceiling light.  Lampshades had stains all over them.. breakfast sub par for a Holiday Inn

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Parking was good. Felt secure at hotel. Room was a bit small but comfortable. Very clean. Beverages available in lobby at all times was a bonus.

Nothing that comes to mind. I had an enjoyable stay
