Homewood Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Plymouth Meeting

I originally stayed here because I couldn’t get a room in Philly where I was working. However, despite the rather long commute, I am SO GLAD I stayed here. The location was quiet and great for relaxing after a long day. My suite was great and the value compared to the quality was much better than I could have gotten in Philadelphia.

The breakfast wasn’t great, but it was free and I was glad to have a meal in the morning. I could have easily purchased things to make in my kitchen, but I preferred the convenience of the full breakfast, so I can’t really complain.

The two gentleman that checked me in and out. I sent you a review , the day after my stay praising them. I think it was Hitman and another young man. Both enjoying what they do. Open and willing to go beyond measure. The gentleman who was there at night when I came back from being out was great. He made sure I was a guest, and made sure what I was carrying was a 22 " frame drum. He was polite and firm about the above. I did not mind, for if he was questioning me. That meant I was safe, because he was making sure who ever came through the door on his watch was safe to be there.

Breakfast was blah. Standard, nothing to write home about. I am grateful for it, as I was hungry and needed to eat. Yet, perhaps spruce it up a bit. And the floor in the shower was slippery, without any hand bars anywhere. I could feel if I did not pay attention I could fall.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The breakfast was so awesome. By far the best breakfast I've had at any hotel. Lots of options and something different every morning. It was fantastic. Chyna who works the front desk was sooo friendly and helpful. Great lady to even just talk to. Location was great too. Close to everything. I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully next time it'll be under better circumstances for us.

I thought the rates are definitely a bit pricey. Wish they had more than 2 washers and dryers for that many guests. Other than that nothing was wrong.

This hotel still has the new scent! Our room was spacious and exceeded my expectations, as an ADA room. Many are not as compliant as they advertise, but this was one of the best ADA rooms I've ever stayed in. The room was very clean and comfortable, including all amenities I was expecting. Very close to lots of shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was not good at all. The waffle mix must be watered down because all the waffles stuck and were so dry even with using the nonstick spray and correct timing. The breakfast meats and potatoes were dry and tasteless. I always consider breakfast a bonus, so the lackluster breakfast didn't detract from our experience.

We were staying for a week and were in a room that faced the freeway which was quite noisy. Staff were very accommodating to help us move to another, quieter room. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was great and there was a nice outdoor seating area. We also liked the layout of our king suite room, which had a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator.

We come to Philly 2-3 times a year so we have stayed at other hotels in the Plymouth Meeting area. This was our first time at Homewood Suites and we LOVED it. Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. WIFI, TV, appliances all worked fine and it had a full kitchen! Stove top, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave. This is now our go-to hotel in the Philly area, no more mini-frig for us!

Great location. Very clean facilities. Our room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Ashley at the front desk was just lovely. She was welcoming and friendly from check-in to check-out and she handled a special request promptly and courteously. Breakfast was great with fresh and hot selections. We will definitely stay again if back in the area.

Liked everything

The bed was comfortable. Not too hard, not too soft. Appreciated a special setup of the shower. The faucet was away from the shower head. That gave me a chance to adjust the temperature of the water without having to reach through it to adjust. The layout was comfortable. We were able to prepare and eat breakfast in the room and still make it on time to the family event.

I find the pricing overbearing. I had already splurged by choosing Homewood Suites rather than Extended Stay....then came the taxes. 2 taxes!

This place was an incredible value for the rate!! The pool was so much fun and super clean. The staff went above and beyond and everyone was super friendly! The breakfast was filling and plentiful!

The snacks and drinks were a bit expensive. Bring your own goodies to save some $$$

Breakfast was very good, lots of options. Andre was terrific. Joe at the front desk was very professional and helpful. Overall the Hotel was clean, however the carpets are in need of a deep cleaning or in some places replacing. The sofa in our room 426 also had some stains. I do think all the staff should be wearing masks if you are going to require guests to wear masks, ( the housekeeping staff were not wearing masks while we were there). Otherwise a very enjoyable stay and great location. Thank you,
