Fairfield by Marriott Wilkes-Barre

Staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and quiet and beds comfortable.The breakfast was very good each day and the woman overseeing food services area was exemplary. Nice dining room, nice selections and adequate food.

Loud air conditioning unit in room, would prefer a stand alone shower instead of bathtub/shower combination and very low toilet. Our room faced a courtyard in an Area behind our facility ( an old hotel) and it was unkept with lshopping carts, trash and people living there trying to have people in our dining room let them in to dining area. Took away from the Marriott suites facility and caused some security concerns.

It was very pleasant a the stay and room very clean and all the staff are amazing , there is a special lady who works in the breakfast area her name is mrs Lee, she is the best of the best, very diligent and goes the extra mile to provide excellent service to all the guests , seen her how she greet every single person in the breakfast area and she made sure we were all good , I can not complaint about anything, I loved this hotel and I will come back and I will reffer to all Y families and friends when we come back to Wilkes barre, we will defenetely stay at this hotel

The 2nd shift manager was absolutely wonderful. I had come in nearly in tears from a horrible experience at a nearby hotel. She was so helpful and absolutely made my stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. I will definitely come back! Breakfast was great!! So much to choose from and easily available.

Hot breakfast was good, rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and gave excellent recommendations for things in the area. Also near restaurants and gas stations for convenience

There is a parking lot in the back and drunks were hanging out partying in it throwing tires and being obnoxious. Only bad thing about it

The breakfast was very good. the staff person was extremely accommodating and helpful. Food selection was good and plentiful. tables were clean and well kept. it was a very pleasant experience.i liked it's proximity to the restaurant. Restaurant food was very good and the service was excellent. We had a great and very personable waitress.

There is really nothing to complain about. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean and shower was strong.

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with a microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. The pool and hot tub was so refreshing after a day of traveling! The breakfast and the breakfast staff were fantastic!

The person who was handling the breakfast and making waffles and eggs for everyone was very friendly and personable. They were also knowledgeable about the area and recommended a local dairy to take my children to. She was lovely.

If I had to say something I didn't like, the lamp between the beds in our room was not working properly. The switch connection was a little faulty.

your service was great, your service was great, the beds were a bit good but not bad, we thought it was king, we had a little difficulty in fitting in, because my son is disabled, I had to lay him next to me, but you still gave us a baby bed, thank you😇😊

Not the cheapest around,parking lot in bad condition, needs to be resurfaced. The casino hotel is much nicer and only a little bit more expensive.

Friendly staff! The entire facility was spotless!

Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. We wanted oatmeal but it was not really cooked. We arrived around 4:00 and the coffee was cold!
