Quality Inn Arena

Very nice and comfortable but a bit dark and sketchy area. The midnight staff was wonderful and attentive when I checked in, the room was spotless and the bed was soo comfortable! Pillows needed work, but I went and got mine out of the car. Lol

The manager at the desk at check out was RUDE! I went down to check out and he was on the phone starring into his computer and not once did he even glance up to acknowledge me standing there! I went back up to my room and called him! When I went back down and turned the keys in and got my check out recipt, he never smiled nor did he said hello, thank you, have a good day, or even kiss my ass. I was pissed for the rest of the day after that and didn't stop there to stay on my way back home. That's bad for your brand and makes its been eliminated from my next trip. I hope you get your management trained in customer service better because that was pathetic!

The breakfast was an average motel offering. The waffles tasted great and there is an option to make mini waffles. Like many chains, the motel no longer has carpeting. This is great because the floors are clean, but makes upstairs noise more audible. The mini fridge cycled on and off, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to sound. The room was nice and dark even right on the parking lot, and the bed was firm and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There's a Perkins next to the parking lot, and the motel is less than 2 miles from a huge shopping area with any stores and restaurants you might want.

The breakfast t was disappointing. The room was comfortable, and very clean. There was plenty of space. The shower curtain was torn and the bathroom door had a hole but that did not effect my stay. This was an extremely good value.

The shower curtain could be replaced as well as the bathroom door. Thr breakfast could offer eggs other than hard boiled and some type of breakfast meat.

I went to Scranton for a concert and didn't want to have to drive two hours back home late night, so I chose this facility. It was right off the highway, and only a half-hour drive from the venue. It did not disappoint. I was unsure what to expect, since the price is low and Econo Lodge is a chain known for the bare basics. Well, I wish all hotels would provide bare basics as nice as these. The front desk staff were very friendly as soon as I walked in the door, calling out a friendly greeting to everyone coming and going. Check in was very quick and easy. The room was small but I didn't need more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was nice to have supportive firm pillows; so often nowadays the pillows are soft and I feel as if I'm suffocating overnight. I prefer a cool room, and the air conditioner worked well and quietly. There were so many channels on the television, which was a nice change as well. The coffee machine in the lobby was available 24/7, and the coffee was very good. I understand them not providing breakfast, although some sort of quick bagged option would have been nice.

While the water pressure in the shower was fairly strong, the water never got hot. It was warm throughout my shower, and I was cold almost the entire time.

I was really happy to see that there was not carpet in the bedrooms but a vinyl floor. The floor looked very clean, but upon wiping up a water spill, it seemed somewhat dirty. Overall, it was clean and very pleasant to stay there.

This hotel was perfect for a quick overnight trip for a concert! I would definitely stay here again. No signs of it being dirty, but don’t expect an amazing room from a 2 star hotel.

Minor cosmetic damage in the rooms would could be unappealing to some (chipped wood by baseboards, small holes in the walls from where pictures used to hang, etc). The bathroom is TINY.

Rooms are quiet, large, and clean. Shower has good pressure. Bed is comfy and pillows aren't too bad. A nice view of the mountains and highway. There are charging ports in multiple locations for your devices. Ice makers on every floor that work. If you don't need a pool or a whole lot of other amenities, this is a nice quiet place to stay with friendly staff. It's a nice 30 min drive to Pocano raceway. It is close to golfing and other outdoor activities.

They advertise a continental breakfast but there isn't one. They do give you a 10% discount at Perkins, and there are other places close by to eat, so just stop advertising breakfast included when it's not.

Easy on/easy off highway access. Excellent for that trip. Wish that were made clearer in reviews of ALL accommodations. No food due to COVID, but a coupon for a nearby restaurant that provided a good meal. Quiet despite being close to highway. Plenty of well-lit room to walk dog nearby. minimal dog fee. One of my pet (NPI) peeves is a high dog fee and no pick-up bags or grassy area to walk your dog.

Hallway floor had evidence of prior pet accidents. No smell though.

Nice and practical accomodation on the way to Pennsylvania's State Park in Ricketts Glenn. Extremely friendly staff. The bedrooms are simple as you would expect them to be but it has the essentials (including a microwave oven) and no space is lost. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is fine (the waffles cooking station was great!).

Few great dining options in the vicinity, but that was to be expected.

They had no breakfast due to Covid but, they did offer coffee and tea. I decided to eat out and didn't have any. The location was good. Right in back of Perkins restaurant, so I got food and drink from there during my stay and they gave you 10% off your order if you were an Econolodge guest. I had an medical emergency during my stay and called the front desk, the the agent there was very helpful, calling 911 help for my immediately, so I got help right away, which was really great. Also, the security there is first-rate. The property definitely takes security seriously. I had a nice time during my stay and will definitely be coming back.

I really liked everything at the property. I wish they had offered the continental breakfast that they had years ago, but due to Covid it wasn't possible this time. I am sure in the future, when it's safe to do so they'll bring it back.
