Kimpton - Harper Hotel, an IHG Hotel

Valet parking was fast Cleaning staff was great, needed a few extra towels and things in suite and immediately handled Breakfast was good at the restaurant. Nice suite

No help offered on on bags, but person did hold door? Front desk had some issues on getting (6) rooms billed correctly. I had to call on following Friday to get a room credited back to card. Was overcharged. Bartenders "Miss V" has some attitude issues, Several guests were also complainin A couple in next door started having a knock down fight (screaming yelling, throwing stuff at walls) at 1:30 am, I ended up calling security before someone got hurt. Wild night.

Congestion unloading at the valet stand. Too few car parking attendants and bell captains. In fact on Sat. upon my departure, there was only one bell captain for the entire hotel. I waited 40 mins. for assistance with my luggage. The front desk was on the 24th floor which was a bit odd. Especially having to haul your belongings onto the elevator (with so few bell captains), then ride up to check in.

Breakfast was really good. Simple, perfectly prepared in all aspects, and served with excellent coffee. The staff was prompt, courteous and pleasant. Our server closed the blinds without prompting when she realized the sunlight was becoming glaring. The staff at the desk couldn't have be better. They were busy and a bit behind getting the rooms ready for check in. Despite being under considerable pressure, they maintained a Zen-like patience and courtesy that made the process of check in pleasant despite the wait. Special thanks goes to Bruce and his co-worker when we arrived. They were simply excellent and totally service-oriented.

The wait for the valet to get our car was a bit long, and the lobby was cold.

Started out with missing 5 confirmed reservations, but David was finally able to find them in their system. Poor communication of bar and kitchen closing time. Definitely, hotel and bar on different page. Cocktails we're not consistent. 12:30 bar was closed and drinks picked up. A few minutes later, hotel guests were rudely told to leave the lobby because the lights were being turned off. So no place to meet/talk (not having alcohol) with friends before going back to room on New Years Eve?

I loved everything about the property. The location is perfect for someone looking to be by bars and food! The room was the perfect size and so clean! I could call the front desk for even a question and they always seemed happy to help. I must say Bruce was overall spectacular! The free bikes to ride and look around are a nice touch. Look forward to another stay!

The air in the room wouldn’t go down with the thermostat, so I did have to call at night to have someone fix it. Quick response and was nice and cold in no time so no problem really!

loved the old building. bed was super comfy. loved the refinery bar.

we are old and didn’t see the bar scan given to us with the key. we didn’t know how to get snacks or coffee the next morning until we called the desk. wasn’t really a fan of check in on the 24 floor either. elevators were kind of slow. maybe a small sign in room explaining how to get the coffee.

Location, excellent staff, good room, nice breakfast.

Being told breakfast was not included when it was. Having to contact booking.com as hotel argued the point. Messaging hotel and not getting a response.

It was a beautiful room. The art was great, very comfy bed and the soaker tub was glorious! The staff was helpful, kind and the evening drink hour was sweet! The lobby was stunningly decorated too. The views were pretty awesome too! Exercise room had stepper, treadmills, weights, yoga mats and bikes. Great place!

The valet was a bit pricey, no porter to help with the bags and there was no microwave or coffee. That simply meant that you had to go down for them daily and had no spoons or plastic ware in your rooms. Somewhat disappointing.

The views were stunning , the modern decorations were beautiful the whole place was kept up well and had a modern vibe . The hotel bar was good and the food was even better than I expected.

Pets are welcome , but I wouldn’t say this location was pet friendly as there is no green space for a pet to potty other than the planters on the sidewalk in front of the lobby. My dogs aren’t used to using flower beds to potty , and it’s embarrassing taking them to potty while people are there unloading at the valet .

the location and staff were amazing. It was super clean and had all you really needed for the perfect getaway! comfy beds, great valets, etc.

The rooms got hot at night with no way to make them cooler, the valet is steep pricing, the bar was really overpriced for what you get.
