The view from the room , it feels very cozy

The limited meals available for lunch and there is no dinner available. We have to use delivery service to get our meals delivered to our room. Which leads me to my next concern of safety. Basically anyone that walks in and says they are there to deliver can just walk in and has access to roam the floors. Someone should be assigned to confirm the delivery by calling to the room before allowing anyone past the elevators.

I like the room because of the view

I didn't like the room because it didn't have a microwave or a refrigerator. As well as I had to pay $15 for parking that was not good for me. Had I known before hand i may not have booked there

Restaurant and bar staff are the best!! very attentive and helpful. Location with respect to hospitals is superb.

I’ve stayed several times in different rooms here and the mattresses keep getting worse each visit. urgent to change them. I’ve never been offered an upgrade and have been accommodated on smaller rooms at the same price as larger. I normally stay at a suite.

The staff went above and beyond. I checked in and the room was what I expected, but didn't have a refrigerator. Normal, I never need one but this trip I did. The staff moved me to a room with one. The room I was moved to was better, but what really counted was the willingness to move me to another room that had what I needed. And most of all did it without me asking or making me feel like I was imposing. Additionally, I used the shuttle and again the staff was friendly and kind. Will stay here in the future! LOVE THE STAFF

we were traveling from San Antonio to Houston but would be arriving to the hotel at 3 in the morning that Saturday . I called the hotel and asked If I could check in at that hour and they said yes. I would be traveling with my three children so I wanted to make sure, and yes they did allow us to check in at 3 am. when we got to our suite it was more then what we expected. we had an excellent view of the Houston skyline. the suite was very clean and comfy. We didn't use the kitchen but we did like the full size refrigerator for our drinks. plus a tv in the living room a tv in each room. and also being able to control the a/c in every room was great.The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool as well . Valet park staff super nice.

PARKING !!!!! OH MY!! that's the only thing you have to improve. parking is so limited, when we arrived that morning they had no more spots open we had to use the valet parking, good thing they didn't charge us. then at night we got to the hotel around 10 pm and we literally drove around the parking lot for 10 minutes waiting for a spot to open up. When we found one another person who was also driving around looking gave us a mean look cause we got the spot. Also our key to get into the pool kept inactivating for some reason we had to go to the front desk twice to get replaced .Wish they had an actual Starbucks inside the hotel not just the sign because they serve the regular coffee in their restaurant.

Morning staff is super nice excellent customer service- super comfortable and housekeeping staff super nice and attentive.

The parking spaces was very limited & upon my check-in graveyard Receptionist was very rude charged me twice even after I told her my reservation had been paid in full.

Availability of kitchen in my room spacious for the price range from just room to rooms like suite Cloth washing machine at first floor

The furniture is good and clean but not of modern style

The cookies are, of course, the best thing about staying at a Double Tree. This hotel in particular was close to the acitivies we were doing. The staff was friendly.

My only issue was with our bathroom. It was clean, but the tub would not drain.

It was clean, and kept up with. The hotel was only accessible by card, so random people wouldn't enter. The bed was very soft. Most hotels have small bathrooms, but this one did have more space.

I did not mind paying for the parking, but I should at least have a spot at all times if I'm paying $50+... I should have read description better, but the room we had did not have fridge or microwave.

Decorated for Christmas nicely. convenient to the venue I was going to.

The treatment of my daughter and her friend by the first receptionist was not acceptable. She was older and felt she could talk down to my daughter and her friend because they were 19 years old.
