Best Western Plus Lackland Hotel and Suites.

I especially liked how helpful the staff was to accommodate us during our stay for our son’s Basic Military Training Graduation at Lackland: the map - the directions, the early morning breakfast on those early Mornings. The breakfast was SUPERB!!! I also enjoyed the hot tub and pool and work out room several times. The convenience of the hotel to the AFB was a definite perk! All was not too pricey for what you get, too.

The only thing I had wished for was a little longer pool time. It didn’t open early and after a workout and long day we were cramped for time to enjoy it with it closing at 10 PM.

This hotel was Amazing. The staff was very accommodating. My son accidentally put the do not disturb sign out when we left for the day,but when we returned we asked for some towels and explained wheat happened they came and took our trash and brought us new towels no problem. The breakfast was by far the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely book with Best Western Plus again. My son is in the Navy so we will be traveling more and booking more. Thank you Best Western Plus for making our trip a comfortable one.

The room I rented was a suite it felt like a little apartment it was very clean and spacious and had comfortable beds. I also got to enjoy their hot tub and pool the water and the location of the pool was very clean... they don't have a regular buffet where you can serve yourself. They have two Spanish ladies that serve their customers they're Hot Breakfast and they did an excellent job in serving there customers they were very sweet and kind in serving. But you do still have access to the Texas Waffle, cereal and beverages. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Plus.

The only thing I didn't like was the location of the hotel. The hotel was away from all the events we wanted to attend in San Antonio. We had to drive a distance to every location we wanted to go to. It seemed like we were at every end of San Antonio but the good thing was in the evenings we came back to a clean quiet stress-free Hotel and made it worthwhile in staying there...

The beds were very comfortable. Assorted pillows to choose from. Good quality bedding. Loved the continental breakfast..It was excellent. Good choices. Housekeeping did an excellent job on our room each day. Very impressive. Front desk gave us maps and recommendations for Lackland graduation.. Much appreciated. Very thankful Parking lot Very well lighted with security

MINOR THINGS Outside windows need a professional cleaning. Leaky tub faucet Bathroom door hinges are rusty These 3 things keep it from being a 10 for me

Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast and my sister was in the room directly across the hall. We were there to attend Air Force graduation, the hotel was very close to Lackland AFB and the staff was accommodating. The hotel had maps showing routes to AFB which included event times for airman run, graduation, etc.

Everything was fine. Only negative thing was the eating area was kind of weird and never a bar tender in the bar area which was also the eating area and the lobby.

Staff was friendly & helpful. The beds were comfortable & the room was large enough to comfortably fit 3 people. Breakfast was delicious & the location was perfect since we were in town for BMT graduation at Lackland AFB.

The bathroom fan wasn't working at first, so there was condensation everywhere and a few mold spots on the bathroom ceiling. However, the front desk was very responsive in having maintenance fix the fan the next morning after letting them know about it. I didn't like not having curtains that could be fully closed to block out light. The thicker curtains don't move, only 2 sheer panels in the middle. I woke up several times the first night and had trouble getting back to sleep due to the bright light from outside shining into the room. Lastly, it was hard finding an outlet in the room to safely charge our phones. Our chargers would just dangle out of most of the outlets which didn't seem safe.

Breakfast was excellent & included scrambled eggs, bacon / sausage, potatoes, biscuits & gravy. I noticed waffle irons too. The kitchen staff were great and made sure to have food ready to serve by 5:30 on Wednesday & Thursday for those of us attending Air Force graduation services. They do have washers & dryers, if needed, AND they worked well.

Our key card wouldn't open the (extra) front door in front of the elevator so we always had to go to the main entrance. It's not a huge issue, but....

The property and personnel was awesome. Front desk had great suggestions on where to go and eat. I was there for a graduation on the Airforce base, hotel was not far if renting a car and there was a bus if you do not. It is the best option in the neighborhood and worth the price. I didn’t mind that the hotel was pretty much secluded (peace of mind). 5 min drive to base.

I rented a car so I did not mind that the hotel was pretty much secluded with nothing in walking distance however I do feel like the hotel should have a better dining within or more varieties in the little, little market (prices too high) but you purchase it because there’s no place to walk. If renting a car there are plenty of nearby (10 min drive) to eat by the nearby target.

It was a good location; however, there should have been already prepared sandwiches and coffee available for your guest that were attending the Air Force celebration. Also, when leaving out of your side door, your sidewalk is uneven and I almost fell.That uneven concrete is going to cause someone to fall and hurt themselves. Over all ,my stay was good!

The property and room smelled very clean, bed pillows, sheets and towels were clean. The ceiling fan was a plus to help circulate the air inside the room.

Bathroom: I didn’t understand the half-glass shower door. I had to be careful not to get water all over the outside floor. Also, the ventilation wasn’t too good. Breakfast: The breakfast tasted a day old but was edible.
