Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio Lackland AFB SeaWorld

The hotel is in a perfect location for a SeaWorld and downtown San Antonio visit. Plenty of dining option within walking distance, along with a shopping center and Target just minutes away. The front side of the highway faces highway 151 so be prepared for road noises most of the night (i.e. racing cars, semi's breaking, etc) We got the King suite, which was basically a overly large room with a loveseat a middle table and a king bed, but it was sufficient for our needs, just not your typical "suite" there was no division of room. The walk in shower was great though, no tub to step over. Room AC worked great as we all like sleeping i the cold. The breakfast options were great, better then most hotel food, it was hot and they did an excellent job keeping it filled. Waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy along with red potatoes, great selection of juice and milk along with the hot and cold cereals. I was disappointed in the front desk staff as they appeared to be teenagers, and when asked questions about local dining, or directions they asked if I had google on my phone, or i dunna know? or went looking through post its taped to counter. I also had a flat tire late Saturday night, and asked the clerk at the counter if he knew of a mobile tire service and he laughed and asked what that was...then went looking though the different post its. Just not the type of hospitality I have come to expect from The Hampton Inns... We had not issues with break ins as some others suggested, we did make sure we left nothing in the car, and made sure that doors were locked. The parking lot is well lite. I was traveling with 3 teenage grandkids and while I would stay here again with other adults or my spouse, as a female I could not say that I would stay without another adult with me, just based on the desk clerks. The housekeeping staff and those working the breakfast area were wonderful and very helpful.

The front desk staff....they were very unprofessional and unable to offer any assistance or suggestions for the area, When anything was asked you either got the blank stare or a stroll through post it note forest

The breakfast was awesome. Loved the Texas shaped waffles. The location was great- we were in town for AF graduation and it was very convenient and close to the base, restaurants, etc. pricing was not bad either… only concern of mine were some of the sketchy people hanging around the back of the hotel… also there was a Turkey?!?

The AC unit made a weird noise. Sheets felt like they were damp. Sketchy people were hanging out in the back of the hotel. Parking was a little scarce

Upon entering the room there was an annoying buzzing coming from behind the unit that housed the TV, frig, and microwave. I called the front desk but she had no one on duty that could come and look at it.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Due to being near Sea World there were lots of children on site. Parent should accompany their child and serve there breakfast. The children were getting way more than they would eat and tasting it and throwing it in the trash.

The breakfast was wonderful in the pool area was nice and warm the water was cold but other than that it was great the workout gym area it was very clean and organized.

Well for what you paid to get your room they don't do house cleaning and if you need towels you got to go to the front take the dirty ones and get clean ones, also if you need more coffee for the coffee machine in your room you got to go get more coffee.

Staff, breakfast was great!

The set up on the fridge within the dresser...it was kinda cramped and awkward to put items within the fridge. I also did not like the sliding door for the bathroom. We have different family members in the room, along with a toddler. There was no way to "lock" the bathroom for privacy, if needed. The overall room set up was good though.

distance to sea world. pretty clean. older property so few things that need better repair or maintenance such as a piece of the baseboard just sitting up against the wall flopped over when we walked by it

pool closes too early we wouldve liked to experience it that night. also it would be nice to have extra warm blanket or comforter in closet

It was really in a great location especially if you’re attending a Bmt graduation, just a short ride and the front desk provides a map to get there. also the BREAKFAST was exceptional, they had everything you can think of for breakfast, bacon, omelette, hash brown and make your-own waffles which is good cause it’s hot and fresh to eat. they also have fruits and juice bars and coffee/tea bar, literally almost everything. the rooms are clean and staffs are all very accommodating and friendly.

The breakfast was equally delicious on all days we stayed. The staff members who cooked and setup the food made sure the breakfast was hot and fresh. She went above and beyond her duty to make sure guests were taken care of. Customer service was just exceptional - I for one thank her for that. Thank Hampton Inn & Suites for an amazing experience.

I think the guest laundry area could have been a lor better. There was a strong mildew odor in the laundry area.

Breakfast was great. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I like the soap, shampoo, and lotion available. Even though I bring my own, it's nice to know its available.

Don't like that you have to ask for clean towels and trash to be removed. The tile in the bathroom also needs a good cleaning.

Loved the front desk they helps us with everything with a good attitude, and breakfast was delicious. Also loved how close it was to Sea world.

I didn’t know housekeeping didn’t work on Sunday’s so we had a good amount of trash in our room for the time being. Other then that loved everything!
