Homewood Suites by Hilton Lackland AFB/SeaWorld, TX

I came here to stay close to the AF Lackland Base. It was within a 10 min drive to the Luke blvd Gate where the events took place. Easy access on and off the highway. The hotel is super close to shops like Target or Walmart in case you forgot to pack items in your suitcase. It is also close to other shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and the hotel was quiet so we were able to sleep well. The bathrooms had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, body soap so you can skip packing those if you'd rather use their items (no sample bottles like I grew up seeing)

I enjoyed everything and the staff made it that much better with their exceptional customer service.

If I had to choose something I disliked, it would be the guest laundry room. My experience was not a pleasant one. Only two washers/ dryers were available and one of the dryers was not heating properly. It took me almost four hours to wash two loads and I couldn’t even dry them because, again, there was only one fully operating dryer and while I was there about four other guests were wanting to do their laundry. I thought I would have enough time in the a.m. to do my laundry but 12pm fast approached and I had to check out. I had no other choice but to put my wet clothes in plastic bags and travel four hours back home. Needless to say that I have to wash them again.

We loved the large rooms and kitchen area. It was perfect for our family of 6. Everyone felt that there was room to spread out a bit. We also really loved the shampoo/conditioner and body wash they had. Never a deal-breaker for us, but definitely a pleasant surprise at how nice it smelled and how well it worked for everyone in our family.

The breakfast is not vegan/GF friendly. There was no oatmeal, no GF cereal, no dairy-free milk. If anyone in your family has allergies, consider bringing your own breakfast items.

Hotel staff were very accommodating and nice. Had a minor issue with the room and was rectified quickly. AC runs nice and cold which is a treat during this Texas heat! Bathroom shower has good pressure/temp. Full kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the fridge/freezer worked very well.

Pull out sofabed was uncomfortable, but it's a sofabed so not much to expect anyway, could use a general re-caulking in the bathroom, phones and remotes didn't work, but none of that ruined the stay for us. Would stay again.

It was very clean and the entire staff was so welcoming and friendly our whole stay. The breakfast was fantastic every morning. They were very accommodating with extra towels, trash pick up, we stayed a week and did not need cleaning everyday but we could call down and let them know when we needed anything. Thank you for a great stay.

Nothing I can think of. There was construction going on but didn’t effect our stay. We will be staying again very soon.

It was so close to my graduation venue it was very convenient. The facilities were nice and the regular staff was great!

The day manager, whose name I didn't get, has red hair is the rudest person! She should not be hospitality. There is nothing hospitable about her. Get yourself a new manager and I bet your ratings improve! Absolutely the worst manager!

exactly what I expected for a price that you can’t beat. some of the best sleep I had in a long time as I am always a super busy person and always on the go. plenty of space for my family and I. The A/C blew like snow!! The beds were superrr comfy! Our room was equipped with utensils and cookware! and the water actually got hot so the shower felt amazing! 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!!

Good distance to SeaWorld, shopping and restaurants. Facility was nice and clean. Loved the gym and pool. Decent parking. Breakfast was okay.

House cleaning did not replace dirty towels, empty trash or change sheets in my room. I had to call for clean towels and linen. I don’t think they stepped foot into my room at all.

Breakfast was super, the staff was great!! Every employee we encountered was courteous, friendly and willing to make you feel special. The room was large and clean. The breakfast staff were exceptional with the quality of food and their service to everyone was the best I have encountered in years.

We did not have any bad experiences with this stay at the hotel.

I loves the big space loved that it had a full working kitchen full refrigerator sink with dish soap dishes pans two stove tops burners a dining table I loved that the room with the two beds had it’s own T.V and window unit and the other room had a T. V and a window unit it had a door separating booth rooms .., I just loved the stay and the staff was awesome very polite ohh my and I. Loved the breakfast wish I could post a picture bottom line will stay there again
