Courtyard Dunn Loring Fairfax

I had the french toast and it was very nice. It's a restaurant setting, so the food is made to order. I am a pescatarian and there were plenty of options to choose from. The room was very comfortable and nice. There were several restaurants and a grocery store in easy walking distance. We opted to eat at a local mall that was a short driving distance away. We did pay to park in the underground parking garage located under the hotel. It was very affordable and plenty of spaces. There is limited parking in the hotel parking lot for free(maybe 10 spaces).

No microwave in the room. There is a microwave in the 24-hour market, but it's in the lobby. The bathtub was not even with the bathroom floor and it felt like it was slanted. There were several grab bars and I felt the need to be mindful of how I step. I would be concerned for an elderly person or someone who has physical limitations.

the staff make the place so amazing! they were helpful and kind. the room was spacious & the parking garage is amazing!! my bathroom was huge and tons of counter space. i liked the coffee shop downstairs but its more like a lic., store than a real coffee shop so selections were different & i am not sure if their hours of operation have changed but they were not open in the evenings when i would return as stated.

there is no microwave in the room; i was kind of sad about it. there are only 40 channels of regular tv i recommend a Roku express to travel with if you like to watch tv in the evenings. the pool is closed!!

Wow! We needed a place to stay on a road trip to access DC on the metro. This hotel is right next to the orange line and the price and reviews all worked - this exceeded our expectations by far. Check in was by the most 'can do' and efficient young man - nothing was a problem and he was so quick. Parking was only $5 for one day and they held the place for us to allow for getting back from DC. Cleanliness and comfort was outstanding, nothing to complain about and in a lovely area. We were so impressed and would 100% go back.

This hotel is well situated near shops and transit, although the metro station was out of service during our stay for upgrades. The staff was polite and friendly and the facilities were great including the large lobby.

The hotel is on a main road and as such there is a bit of noise from traffic but not enough to keep you up, at least on the upper floor where we were. Parking might have to be underground if the hotel were full but it was not during our stay.

Very clean, spacious and modern. Highly professional front desk and room service staff. Shower had tea tree shampoo/conditioner. Location is upscale and safe. Enjoyed our time here.

No microwave in the room. The fridge is very much "mini" and didn't have a freezer section. Bathroom fan was either not working or disabled (perhaps due to COVID). A complimentary breakfast would have been nice (vs $10 per person), even if only bagels, yogurt and oatmeal.

Pool is closed to public use indefinitely. Many hotels are now doing this as a means to cope with loses by turning their pools into private swimming facilities. They need to remove the pool from advertising because I had booked this hotel mainly to be able to use the pool with my children.

A great gem of a hotel if looking to visit DC. The metro is across the street and about 30 mins to middle of DC. The hotel itself is very nice... it is clean which is very important to me. The surrounding area is nice and have lot of dining options. A major plus was parking was $5 a day NOT the $50-60 a night you have to pay for parking in DC !

Not much to not like... only small issue was bed was little softer then I like.

It was in a great location. The metro was a block away and there were plenty of places to walk for food if you didn’t eat at the bistro. The staff was very courteous and halls & rooms were very quiet. It was also very clean.

If I had to say anything negative about our experience I would say: The mattresses were very firm but there were plenty of pillows

Fantastic location! Within 5 minutes of the Dunn-Loring Metro, across the street from Harris Teeter, within 15 minutes of the Mosaic District, restaurants, and stores. Everything was clean and the front desk was friendly. Comfortable beds and strong AC.

No toiletries, must request them from the front desk. No furniture on the balconies.

Good location. Clean comfortable, and quiet. Staff were very helpful. Microwaves are not standard in the room, but they provided one on request. Very close to the metro station. Good value and pleasant stay for a long weekend.

Our room had a balcony, but no furniture was provided. I used the desk chair to sit outside.
