The Westin Tysons Corner

- Pretty decent location, close to grocery stores and restaurants - Clean - Very good check-in experience. The staff were really friendly and welcoming - Nice street view

- I was expecting to see more facilities like a spa, massage, and a pool - The quality of food in the restaurant was good but it was not excellent. Also, more hot food could be served in the breakfast buffet. - I think the business area is not in a good location, right in front of the check-in counter. I wish it was in a more cozy and quiet place.

Nice bar/restaurant, nice fitness center, friendly staff.

The website we saw when booking showed a pool and a nice courtyard so we were disappointed to learn they weren’t there. I also didn’t realize there was no breakfast so we maybe would’ve stayed somewhere else that served breakfast if the price was the same. Otherwise, it was very clean and rooms were nice.

Overall it it was pretty clean to the naked eye. Probably should not have carpet in the hall (not too clean) but I understand why because it can cut down on some of the walking noise. We had some kids traveling with us along with family meeting us there. We knew we may be a little loud and did not want to run everyone out of the hotel so we tried to get a meeting room in advance but it was ridiculously expensive, $1200.

I like the Westin's room design and lighting. I also like that they accommodated my need for quiet as I was there for business and needed to work in my hotel room. Also, their Room Service was fast, efficient, and not as pricey as other hotels. Having Starbucks in the lobby was a perk and the infused water. Friendly customer service!

Nothing much! The carpet in my room seemed a little outdated. Everything else was great.

First the staff didn’t tell me I had to ask them to clean my room , came back late at night tired with kids and room was upside down with no clean towels . Second my bed smelled like coffee the whole time I thought I was dreaming about coffee! Turned out the mattress had a big stain of coffee which I saw the last day before checkout. I took a picture of you needed to see proof. Cleanliness of bathroom wasn’t up to my expectations when it comes to westin, sink and bathtub water takes forever to drain. Time on the clock was behind, which I almost missed a big appointment in the morning because of the difference.

The folks at the front desk were very friendly--both checking in and out. Also, we had to call the desk when we couldn't get the shower to work--after trying to talk us through it, he sent someone right up to help. The custodian was very patient, and didn't make us feel ignorant for not pulling on the knob hard enough. (It was extremely stiff.) We ate a late, light meal in the bar after arriving, and it was delicious! We appreciated the variety of beers on tap, and the bartender was wonderful.

As mentioned above, the knob on the shower was very stiff. The toilet was small and somewhat uncomfortable for my husband, but otherwise, the room was well-appointed and very clean and quiet. These negatives would not deter us from staying here again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Note: When I pulled on the handrail in the tub, it did not provide the support expected because the the screws were separated from the handle! I only needed a small amount of support to pull up from the tub. If someone had to apply more weight for support, they would have fallen. I did mention it during checkout.

I did not like the fact that the back parking lot was not well lit. I arrived in the evening, was traveling alone, and did not feel comfortable walking from the lot to the lobby. Fortunately, the customer service representative indicated it was ok to use valet parking which was closer to the entrance.

We chose the hotel for its location. My wife stayed at this Westin in the past. Very clean, comfortable room. Pleasant, friendly staff. Great services.

Would have preferred to have a microwave in the room. Also, the sliding glass closet door doubles as the bathroom door and screeches when you slide it.

The hotel was clean, smelled wonderful and added a touch of luxury to our weekend getaway. The restaurant was a great location for a drink and some appetizers. We were close to everything and it was easy to get in and out of. The staff was incredibly friendly and I felt like I was safe (for COVID purposes). I work in Tysons Corner and will utilize this hotel again in the future.

The only thing that we even commented on being "bad" was the pillows in our room had absolutely no firmness to them. I'm sure they were all down pillows, but it wouldn't hurt to have 1 or 2 in the room that have some firmness. We didn't ask about replacements because we were only there one night, but we did end up literally folding pillows in half to get any support or stability.

Mik Mahdavi, General Manager, sent an email a few days before my arrival offering special services - very nice touch! The only problem is that I requested special services and he never bother to answer - REALLY BAD!
