Super 8 by Wyndham Spokane Valley

The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was in a safe location with Safeway grocery, Denny's (next door), and gas stations nearby. The hotel is right next to I-90. The supervisor and morning staff were very nice and attentive.

Kinsey the front desk clerk was not personable. She treated me like I was less than.When she saw my husband and I had out of state driver's licenses she changed her attitude from horrible to bad. She was barking orders and she did not smile at all. Kinsey was poorly dressed. She looked like she was cleaning her house. She had a dirty black t shirt and dirty black sweat pants. Her hair was in a very messy bun on top. She did not look like or act like someone who works at a front desk in a hotel.

it is in the convenient location I don't worry about the free breakfast I don't care for the Continental thing although these are Denny's across the way.. the staff was friendly.. but they ask you for too many check-in things when you pay for a room you pay by credit card and you use your ID card number you don't have to keep re-showing it every time you check into a hotel this is unrespectable and it happens so much and this chain here and the one next door... but all in all I do like the location and it is a good value. the rooms could use a little upgrade

the rooms need to be .. upgraded. people slamming doors constantly.. smell of weed and tobacco in the hallway and elevators in the room has a stale odor.. they need new pillows and blankets..

Great location with pleasant staff. Use of indoor pool/hot tub at their sister property was a plus. Bed was decent, but only came with 2 flat pillows. Room was pleasantly clean & comfortable. *Note: Pool IS NOT in the same building! It is next door at their sister property

Main hallways were very dingy & dirty. You can tell where care was taken during remodel and the hallways & elevator were overlooked. I was given a handicap accessible room without being asked/told first - this caused a few issues with my special needs child being able to reach the door lock (it was much lower on the door than in a traditional room) + no bathtub, only a shower. Had I known ahead of time, I would've requested a traditional room.

The check in staff were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for me. The room amenities (refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker were nice options.

The filter bin of the coffee maker was dusty inside and there was a baby carrot inside also. The garbage cans were not emptied the 3 nights I was there, as well as no fresh towels and the floors were not swept or mopped the entire time I was there. I didn't find one door that was ADA approved. I use a walker and I had to move the walker as close to the door as possible, balance myself carefully and open the door allowing space enough for the walker to clear the door.

Price, location indoor pool and hot tub!!

The free breakfast really didn't have anything for diabetic options. Oranges only. Lots of juice, sugary waffles (brown sugar in those) apple and strawberry filled bagel options. I Would have liked some apples and bananas or something high protein, boiled eggs and maybe whole wheat bread for toast? (not the sugary breakfast bars) so I really couldn't eat anything provided 😔

Convenient location close to freeway and where our boys were playing baseball for the weekend. Easily accessible to food choices close by. It was clean and appeared to have recently had new carpet put in and new paint.

The beds were not very comfortable. We were close to the check in area on the first floor and I was woke up a couple times from loud talking and hollering in hallway early hours of the morning not sure if it was staff or other people staying there.

I booked the room solely because it had a 24 hour pool and spa, knowing this was my stop after a long day of driving, I was looking forward to a relaxing soak in a hot tub. I checked in just after 11pm and was told pool is NOT OPEN and pool hours are 7am-10pm. AND the pool is in another hotel across the parking lot. Adding to the disappointment the room was dirty. Dirty beds with animal hair in the sheets. Dog food on the floor. This is not what I booked!!

The staff does not tell you where the pool is, some of the staff were not very friendly or welcoming. The beds hardly have any bedding on them. there is only one icemaker on the first floor but no signs to tell you how to find it. The whole building is very musky smelling and old smelling. The TVs are horrible and outdated, no Netflix or anything like that just normal cable TV. So with a family with three little kids it’s pretty hard to keep them entertained

Only had a sheet and comforter on the bed, no blanket. Was uncomfortably cold.

The atmosphere has changed for the better. Better staff, better clientele, better vibe. We stayed for a week last year and there was a lot of riff-raff, like drug dealers and prostitutes Not at all this time. As a matter of fact, before I decided to stay, I called and asked and they said they are under new management and they cleared the motel of the riff - raff, thank God. Our stay was very comforting and quiet, safe and peaceful. Thank you Super 8 for the rest and relaxation.

I don't like that I can't complain about anything. Everything was quite pleasant.
