Hanoi Media Hotel & Spa

The location was fantastic,, like a three minute walk to the lake, and lots of places around for shopping, coffee, and food! The staff were super welcoming and helpful with good recommendations, and were all so nice! Our room was the loveliest, very spacious and clean and comfortable! We liked it so much that we decided to return to Hanoi again and spend our last night here in Vietnam!

The breakfast was the only thing that probably could have been better, there isnt much space for variety. But they are trying their best

Staff were very friendly and super helpful, providing us with recommendations of places to eat, booking tours and restaurants. The roof top terrace is small but nice and private, with a great view and delicious cocktails.

Location was amazing! Right in the heart of Old Quarter Hanoi. Staff were extremely helpful from the moment I booked. All of the staff took the time to learn our names. We checked out on a Saturday night, the streets are closed to motor vehicles on the weekends, the staff arranged our transfer and took our bags to the meeting point! I'm a single mum and my daughter has a broken arm, so this was extremely helpful. I plan to return in February with my son as I know we will be well looked after!

The hotel staff are amazingly helpful. This is a developing hotel in the middle of the city. We liked it was a walking distance to the lake and puppet theatre. We had booked tockets for the theatre online. Hotel staff assisted us to swap them as our plans unexpectedly changed. Staff were like family. Highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was fresh and wondeful.

First of all - Jenny from Reception has been exceptional. Everyone in Vietnam is really nice, but Jenny has exceeded the expectations and went above and beyond to ensure we have a great experience in Hanoi and surroundings. She helped us organise all our itineraries, found us great deals + helped us at late hours when we had some issues with one of the day trips outside of Hanoi. She was always there for us, very reliable and pleasant to deal with. Many thanks to her! The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from every main attraction (including the lake and temple Chua Tran) The room was not extremely spacious but perfect for what we needed for few nights. Hanoi is a place to visit and explore.

The breakfast could have been better, but there are plenty of places to eat in Hanoi. And we actually preferred that - to try new places every day; some hidden gems.

Our stay at Hanoi Media Hotel and Spa made our trip to Hanoi perfect. The location of the hotel in the Old Quarter is fantastic if you want to be near Hoan Kiem Lake. We were literally 2 minutes walk from the Huc Bridge. We made full use of the amazing location and spent many hours happily exploring the Old Quarter. The team at Hanoi Media did an amazing job looking after us. We arrived in the city via train in the early hours of the morning and went directly to the hotel. I had let them know about our early arrival and they had said if they couldn't accommodate an early check in for us, they would keep our luggage for us until our rooms were ready. As soon as we arrived they prepared a free room for us, at a minimal charge, which we could use for the next 6 hours to freshen up and rest while we waited for our booked rooms to be vacated and cleaned for us. In addition, when checking out, they made one of our rooms available for a late check out, so we could pack and leave the hotel as late as possible. This willingness to ensure our comfort and convenience was maintained throughout our stay and was hugely appreciated by us. They also stored and kept our luggage for us when we checked out to spend 2 nights at Ha Long Bay. Our rooms were great. We booked the Junior Suite with Terrace, and when returning from Ha Long Bay, stayed in the Junior Suite with Balcony. Both rooms were lovely. The Junior Suite with Terrace is an extremely large room with lovely space to move around, and we loved the Junior Suite with Balcony for its fantastic views over the city where we could sit and admire the city lights and sounds. Our second room was the Superior Double Room which served perfectly for our teenage daughters. This was a quiet, safe space where they could sleep in and relax when taking some time off from exploring the city. We enjoyed the Lux Skybar, and the kind doormen at the entrance to the hotel. Always on hand with a smile and warm greeting.

While the location is ideal for being a part of the Old Quarter, it is worth it to know that on weekends the area around Hoan Kiem Lake is extremely busy and loud with music. Thankfully the hotel accommodates this very well and we could close the sliding doors of our rooms and were not disturbed by the city noise and music at all.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Jason and the staff at this hotel are the best. Everything is thought of and they are so kind and helpful. It's so easy to book your Trips with Jason and the prices are cheaper than on the streets. I felt looked after for the 4 nights that I was there. The rooftop bar area is brilliant for chilling out after a long day. It's got lovely views of the lake amd again the prices for cocktails and drinks are more than reasonable. The location of the hotel is just perfect and just let the staff recommend some places to eat and you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be staying at the Media hotel again when travelling to Hanoi. Nige Wales UK

Very professional operation, with great clean rooms and a really good breakfast included. But in an industry where most hotels offer this, Hanoi Media Hotel and Spa sets itself apart from the rest with truly wonderful staff, who really pride themselves on amazing service. You can see the enjoyment they get from being of service and the satisfaction they get from your appreciation. We received great advice about tours and exploring the city. It made our time in Hanoi and the wider region so much better. Top this with a great location in the old Quarter and excellent views out over the lake and city. I'm happy to recommend Hanoi Media Hotel and Spa (there's a couple with similar names) to other travellers. If we come back to Hanoi we'd stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Hanoi Media Hotel and I must say that my experience was fantastic. The staff, especially Jason, made me feel welcomed as if I was part of their family. Jasons’ team was very accommodating and always went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One afternoon, Jason's team hospitality extended even further when they invited me for some beers in the lobby. It was a great opportunity to chat with them and get to know more about the hotel and the local area. It was a small gesture, but it made me feel even more at home during my stay. In addition Luong and Tracy were also amazing hosts. They were always available to answer any questions I had and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Overall, the Hanoi Media Hotel exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Hanoi. The staff truly made my experience memorable and I look forward to staying there again in the future.
