Our room was very spacious and as described and pictured. The bed was comfortable and the shower very spacious with great pressure. The facilities in the room- kitchenette, washing machine and drier were very convenient . The foyer was welcoming. The lifts were very fast. The pool and spa were refreshing, relaxing and clean. Luggage storage was available before and after we checked in and out.

We recently had a very enjoyable stay at Skye Suites Sydney. My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and were very pleased with the hotel. The room was generously sized, extremely clean and had all the ammenities we required for a comfortable stay. The room was very quiet, we didn't hear other guests or street noise during our stay. There was a lounge, a large TV where we were able to link up our streaming services, a well stocked kitchenette, dining table and chairs, ironing facilities, hair dryer, great wifi, safe or valuables etc. The pool was large and the gym was well equipped with great machines and plenty of equipment. The staff were always friendly and very helpful during our stay, recommending cafes open early in the morning and offering to order us taxis if we needed.The hotel stored our bags safely after we checked out as our flight wasn't until later in the day, also offering freshen up facilities in the powder room by the reception when we collected our bags later in the day. The hotel is in a great, central location in the middle of the city and within short walking distance to Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and Hyde Park. There's also plenty of shopping, cafes and restaurants nearby

The only downside was that there could have been another blanket on the bed. There was only one coverlet on the bed in the winter.

The location is excellent, close to sightseeing, in between several areas with restaurants and very close to the main shopping area. The beds and pillows were comfortable and lighting was good for reading. The kitchen was fully equipped and the washing machine was extremely useful.Tea and coffee were provided. The apartment hotel lobby and suites are stylishly decorated and the building is designed by Koichi Takada. Staff at the front desk are friendly, professional and efficient. I would have used the pool but there was so much to see in Sydney!

Cleaning was good but not 100%. Certain areas eg skirting boards and corners were dusty. A minor point, Netflix was available in the bedrooms but not in the living room.

I went there because i love the tv show Married at First Sight Australia and i wanted to have the experience of staying in the hotel where they film the show and i got the experience. The rooms, the lights, everything was as it was on a tv show. So as a bit of a fiend for that show, i enjoyed everything about my stay there. And also loved that there was a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer combo in the room. Reception staff were also very helpful upon both check in and check out.

The room was a bit dustier than i would have liked - but because everything else was pretty great, i could look past it!!

The hotel is a side street but close to main transport links plus the Open Top Bus tour. On arrival, the entrance lobby has the most wonderful 'spa' smell and we were given a very friendly greeting by the reception team. Check-in is officially 3pm but I had called through a couple of days before to ask if we could leave our bags, as we were arriving around 9am. We were so impressed that a room was given to us instantly! The room was huge with a comfortable lounge area, large TV, good kitchenette (with microwave, large fridge, cook-top and dishwasher) plus coffee machine etc. The room was darker, as it was a low floor, but that was not a problem for us. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. It is even better than it looks on MAFS :-)

If I was really picky, I think the hotel should have larger beds, as the rooms are certainly big enough. We are used to a king size and the bed felt more like a double or possibly a smaller queen. It was comfortable though - just personal preference! Others have complained about the size of the bathroom. Yes, it is small, but it has everything you need and I am not sure what they are fussing about!!

Skye's central CBD location worked well for us, within easy (15-20 minute) walking distance of the Circular Quey, The Rocks, Darling Harbor and Chinatown. The little kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to make breakfast every morning rather than searching every day. The Miele dishwasher worked well and it was really nice having a washer/dryer in the room especially as we were there for 8 full days. Bedside USB ports for charging our electronics. The lobby was quiet and always staffed. If you're looking for a place with a lively lobby scene, look elsewhere. Workout room was sufficient for my needs.

It was a bit confusing at times to figure out the lighting until we learned that some of the circuits are on motion sensors, but this was minor.

The staff were absolutely exceptional - for them nothing was too much trouble and they were did everything with a warm and friendly smile. The location was wonderful, the room facilities were extremely good. We enjoyed getting fresh towels etc each day.

Sometimes the housekeeping was a little patchy ie there was a dirty paper napkin under the couch and it was there when we arrived and was still there when we left. Not a big thing but in the first few days the used face washers were taken and not replaced (after a few days I left a note & they replaced them) The same with the sugar, we ran out & I had to leave a note requesting more which they responded to promptly. As mentioned not big issues & it certainly did not detract from our wonderful stay.

Upon arrival the receptionist Petra was absolutely welcoming, informative and friendly. Gave us an early check-in and even personally brought our bags to our room. She went the extra mile. Room was stunning. Smelt fresh. Spacious. Ample toiletries. Super comfy bed and pillows. Not that I used the mini bar, but certainly we stocked. Quality appliances and great coffee machine. Every staff that I engaged in were helpful and friendly. Big shout out to housekeeping supervisor whom also went way and beyond with extra towels, coathangers etc. The complimentary champagne and chocolates on NYE was a beautiful touch to a memorable stay. Pool area, spa and gym was certainly well used. Great location in Darling Harbour, within walking distance to all the main spots.

No housekeeping on 1st and 2nd January. A little disappointing considering I paid a premium price to stay during the New years season, which meant staff would be paid more too - however, no housekeeping! Furthermore, complimentary bottled water is always provided at every hotel I have ever stayed in - and for half the price. However, none on offer at Skye. I had to go and buy my own as not paying $7 for bottled water that was available in mini bar.

location was excellent value for money was excellent for 9 days we paid $2600 .. we booked 8 months in advance and got a great deal. the apartment had full washing/drying facilities which was fantastic for the 9 day stay we had. The kitchen facilities were good enough for a short stay. The apartment had a balcony which is always a bonus. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional.

Nothing to serious. The house keeping was excellent except The tea / coffee condiments were often not refilled. The shower unit had a damp patch on the ceiling which must be due to a leak above it had a small cold drip coming though. It didn’t effect our bathroom just a heads up for the property.

The service was top notch. Very efficient staff that went out of their way to help with any request & made our stay very enjoyable. We found the apartment to be luxurious, spacious, clean & perfect for our family of four. The pool & spa is spectacular.

There was some construction taking place directly across from the property so there was a little noise & also some rowdy party goers in the streets below which could also be heard in the night. The parking is also quite expensive at $80 per night (valet service). Noted that there was alternative parking available at a location just up from the suites at $60 per night.
