Location & proximity to public transport to get around was very good

What I was extremely disappointed in was the fact that I booked a room 9 months ago with a balcony & upon arrival was told there were no suites with Balcony left, this was the whole reason for booking with Sky Suites & it has left me very frustrated with your accommodation.

We loved the location both for the airport and circular quay The suites are so comfortable spacious and quiet with all the facilities we needed

There was nothing we didn’t like

The location was right at the Green Square Station, which was only 10 minutes away from the airport and few minutes to Central by train. There was a supermarket just at the corner. We stayed for a week in a two-bedroom suite, which was very spacious and well equipped. It was quiet, safe and spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping came every other day and bathroom amenities, dish washing liquid and laundry powder were refilled generously. The house staffs responded to all questions 24 hours and worked all the way to make us feel at home. We enjoyed our stay very much and will certainly come back for future visits.

Location close to airport and quick, inexpensive train ride into the city center. Responsive staff and a 24hr desk. Very quiet at night with good block out drapes for darkness. Great pool area and spa. Shower at the pool area could be a bit more powerful. Big 2 bed apartment. Good wifi and device casting arrangements, easy to follow. Good pub, italian and Asian restaurant choices nearby and plenty of cafes. A supermarket on the doorstep.

A larger saucepan and a more appropriate cheese grater would have been appreciated given the appmt sleeps 4. Dishwasher powder with rinse aid combined or topping up the rinse aid dispenser would have made the washing up easier and not required additional drying.

We had a one bedroom suite that was huge and had everything we needed. The area seems to be undergoing a lot of rejuvenation and our balcony overlooked some construction sites (we barely noticed any noise) where a park is being developed and some new buildings, and I think in a year or 2 this will be a fabulous place to be if you prefer to avoid the central Sydney prices but still want a good choice of restaurants nearby. Green Square train station is just 1 minute walk away, and you can be in central Sydney in 10-15 minutes.

The car parking charge was expensive.

Outstanding (funky) building design with all the amenities of a top hotel, very reasonably priced. We were in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment which had every amenity imaginable. Excellent internal fit out, small but functional kitchen, dining and living space; very comfortable indeed. Fabulous location close to airport and city with a great range of local restaurants, all within walking distance, a Woolworths mini market, BWS and the Green Square train station less than a 2 minute walk. Very personable & friendly staff. One of the best stays we have had in Sydney and will definitely stay again when next in Sydney.

When the shower(s) were in use, there was a high pitched ringing sound with the hot water system. This was brought to their attention and forwarded to their maintenance department to investigate. Balcony view over the adjacent ex car park and across to the library ok, but will be hindered when new apartment development starts.

Excellent location, very central to where we needed to go which was a 15 min uber here and there. Such a spacious apartment/room. Mentioned it was my birthday when checking in and received a lovely gift upon arrival which was totally by surprise, all i asked for was an early check in. Staff super friendly and helped with any questions.

Not keen on having to remove own rubbish, maybe suggestion for future, the bags could be tied up ready to be taken upon the room being cleaned.

The location is great, the railway station is downstairs, only one stop to Central. Convenient to go anywhere. The staff are lovely and helpful. We arrived early and left the luggage in the reception, when we got back the check-in time, the bags were already in our room. The room is great too. Clean and tidy, the view is nice. The beds are all comfortable. they even have disposable slippers!! I have been to some hotels around NZ, Aussie, and Europe, this is the first hotel to provide disposable slippers - a lovely surprise. The pool is great too, pretty clean, only 1.2m, a safe and nice little pool. Kid had a lot of fun there. Also, Due to the Auckland flood, we decided to stay 5 more days, the reception staff just kindly kept the room for us. All in all we had a great 10 days. Will definitely be back next time when we are in Sydney.

Property was nice and comfortable. We had the 1 bedroom apartment and it was comfortably appointed, washer/dryer, dishwasher, nice toiletries, coffee maker

The location. Not only did you need to take mass transit to get anywhere, but the local area was industrial and undergoing massive construction. One day it may be nice, with decent eateries, bars, but right now it’s pretty grimy. Also, the apartment had a lot of road noise despite being far from CBD. We had a balcony, but never wanted to sit on it, it just overlooks warehouses and construction sites.

The room is large enough for my family of one kid and two adults. We cooked breakfast every morning using the oven. Very close to train station and WoolWorth. The area seems safe with many international student.

It is expensive. But this is in Sydney. So you have to accept it. It would also be better if the balcony gets cleaned when cleaning the room.
