Wonderful staff. Comfortable room & bed, hot shower, tea & coffee in room. Great value. Excellent central location. Coles supermarket (fresh food, fruit, affordable ready-made meals, drinks, pastries, fresh coffee) and Priceline Pharmacy across street. QVB (Queen Victoria Building) at the corner (shops, fast food, cafes and restaurants — recommend Cellini’s!). Town Hall train station just down the street. Light rail one street over - so easy to get to Circular Quay & Sydney Opera House. Short walk to Darling Harbour.

Excellent value for money in a great location just 4 minutes walk along York St from the QVB. The big included surprise was the breakfast room where I could have coffee and toast with a variety of condiments. The building is old and there was no view from the window but for a short stay, it was perfect and very safe.

This was a fabulous motel within easy reach of everything I needed and a short walk to the station to get to and from the airport. Although my room did not include breakfast, the lovely girl at reception told me that I was welcome to have complimentary coffee and toast in the dining area in the morning which was very unexpected. The bed was enormous and the room clean and tidy. I thought it was excellent value for the money.

Breakfast is basic eg toast, coffee, hot chocolate etc, but hits the spot. Rooms are small but fully furnished hotel-style with full bathroom, kettle, mini-bar fridge. Very clean. Comfortable beds, limited seating due to room size. Helpful staff. Luggage storage prior to or after checkout. Family and tourist friendly. Would also be good if attending a work conference. Nothing sleazy. Easy walking distance to Town Hall and St James rail stations, plus light-rail station at Queen Victoria Building which will quickly get you to Circular Quay. Lots of shopping facilities, plus mini-eateries to full restaurants surround this very central location. Pricing is excellent given centralised location.

This property is designed for short stays. If you are looking for room to spread out, a full kitchen, pool/spa/gym etc, spend more or go further afield.

Nothing bad - exceptional staff and great location!

Great location in central Sydney. Walking distance (for me) to all tourist locations I wanted to visit. Clean, comfortable hotel. Good bathrooms; great showers. I made the mistake of booking a small single room, whoch would be fine for a one night stay with minimum luggage but simply too small for my "world tour" luggage etc. The hotel was almost fully booked but found me a bigger room to upgrade to at reasonable cost. The staff really helpful. Much appreciated.

This isn't a complaint but an observation. The hotel does what it does very well and that's that. There may be small wants they don't help with - because they work to a price in an excellent location. Next time I'm in Sydney I'd go back and be pleased to do so.

location was superb. easy to go around the city. Solo travels will find the single room value for money in the heart of Sydney! Room was incredibly quiet given the location! Room is small but for single, good enough and very clean. Happy about everything I will definitely stay if visiting again. staff were also friendly.

single room location seems bit odd but maybe it’s the building itself - it was in-between two floors with stairs so if you do have luggage, you will need to walk a short distance up and down. but if you are travelling light, no issues. just unusual to see this layout …

Wonderful location to move around the city. The room was small, but adequate - it was exactly what we were expecting. The bed was extremely comfortable. We prefer a firmer mattress, so this was good, and the pillows were also comfortable. The air conditioning was powerful and cooled the room well, on a hot and high-humidity weekend. We stayed for 2 nights, and for it's location we felt it was very quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend and if we're needing to stay in the city again for an event, without needing heaps of space or natural light, then it would be perfect. Small bar fridge and kettle worked well and were clean.

One window, met with brick wall quite close, so the natural light wasn't great, which isn't a deal-breaker when you're in the city for event or to explore, however isn't perfect when needing to complete makeup. Some parts of the room were a bit dusty, but not horrendous. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

Location for access to public transport bus, train and light rail all connecting to ferries.Transport NSW OPAL card highly recommended or credit card can be used. Location for city shopping, cafes, bars, restaurants, and convenience stores. Great wool/ handcrafts store further along York St worth a visit. Location for theatres and other central attractions. All round package. Ideal for travellers with an itinerary of activities to explore Sydney.

Megabooom delivers traveller accommodation that is affordable, comfortable, clean and professionally managed. Provision of in room, or access to a central microwave would be welcome.

Great value for money. Excellent location a short walk from Darling Harbour and very close to excellent CBD shopping. The rooms have everything you need including a rain showerhead and toiletries and plenty of towels and facecloths. Very clean. Access to free self-serve toast and coffee/tea in the mornings. Rooms all have tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and television. Easy walk to neighbouring train stations. Rooms are sound proof so very quiet and easy to sleep.

The rooms are small by Australian standards but very adequate compared to many Asian hotels. The towels were quite adequate but not very fluffy.
