Garry and his wife were very welcoming and honestly just genuine nice people, whom wear their heart on their sleeve. Very flexible, value their customers, provide a great service. The property was nice, spacious, close to everything, secure and had a balcony which was a bonus.

Couple things are a little ran down, like the outdoor table and couch. The property does appear a lot bigger in photos, than when you arrive in person. Doesn’t help also, when all you can see around you is high rise apartments over 40 stories each, whilst Costa only is 3 levels.

I had based my choice of my mini-holiday accommodation on previous reviews I had read about Costa D'ora. The reviews I had read gave me high expectations. My hosts Gary and Helen exceeded well beyond that. I felt very welcomed and enjoyed my stay. The apartment I stayed in was clean, nice, spacious plus had plenty of room to move around in without feeling too big for a solo traveller. Everything was just right and felt ultimately comfortable but also homely.

Underground carpark would be my only issue but that's because of the concrete pillar that was next to my parking spot.

It was a great location, close to the beach. Great to have undercover parking. the unit had all that I needed for my stay. Very friendly staff

My 8 year old daughter and I stayed at the Costa D'Ora for 3 nights during the school holidays. The apartment was perfect for us and had everything we needed. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and modern. Having a washing machine and complete kitchen was great. My daughter enjoyed the toasties for breakfast. The location is excellent. It's only a short walk to patrolled beaches, the tram, and Surfers Paradise mall with all the restaurants and activities. We came by car and having secure undercover parking with easy access to the apartment was perfect and made loading/unloading a breeze. Once we had checked-in we didn't need the car - everything was easily accessible. Finally, I can't speak highly enough of the managers Gary and Helen who exceeded all my expectations and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, especially my daughter who absolutely didn't want to go home!

I couldn't find any faults during our stay.

Everything about the Costa D'ora was as good as we could hope for but we think special mention has to be made of the host. Gary was exceptional, attending to our every need, making sure that everything was just right. Late on Christmas night we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room. After a phone call, Gary was there in no time with a smile on his face assuring us it was no trouble even though we are sure he would have been woken up. The location is excellent, a short walk to the beach and everything that Broadbeach and Surfers has to offer.

I can't nominate anything that we didn't like

This place ticked all the boxes for us! ✅️LOCATION - short walking distance to the beach, trams, eateries & Cavill Ave but set off the main roads so pretty quiet. ✅️VALUE FOR MONEY - Good, clean, solid 3+ star lowrise establishment - our unit had everything we needed - comfy bed, good shower, TV w FOXTEL cooking & laundry facilities. Yes, our unit was 'dated' & our balcony faced the back of the property (still sunny & private) but those things didn't bother us. It was PERFECT! ✅️Gary was always around, if needed (thanks again for the trip up the Skypoint👍) & we really appreciated him checking us in an hour earlier as our unit was ready. Would we stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!

Having to leave😢

Amazing hosts, Gary welcomed us to the property with such professionalism and kindness. He helped me carry some of my bags up the stairs (I didn’t even ask him too). He kindly offered to give us a tour of the Q1 and said he was always available to give us any pointers on where the good cafes are. Our room was beautifully decorated and definitely the cleanest looking and feeling hotel room I’ve been in. The air con did an amazing job keeping us cool in the hot weather. Quick walk to the beach and surfers paradise tram station that takes you straight to cavil ave, I would definitely recommend buying a go card for your stay. We felt very safe and looked after at Costa D’ora and will definitely choose it as our hotel the next time we come up to surfers paradise.

That we only chose to stay 2 nights, I didn’t want to leave!

The host Gary was very welcoming and accommodating. His energy was contagious and we loved learning about the area from his stories. All his recommendations were excellent (hopo, restaurants, etc). This is the best location if you only have two days to explore. You are right in the middle of the centre while still having peace and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had a very good pressure and we appreciated the free cot for our toddler.

We loved our stay. And it was a true bargain. But the room is worn out and it doesn't make you want to stay indoors. Fine with us.

close proximity to everything

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Gary helped me carry my luggage. Parking was easy to access. Umberella was available as it rained alot. A surprise upon arrival with an invitation to visit a close attraction was very well received.

My room was clean but looked tired. I had trouble with the TV to watch 2 of my favourite shows on free To air. This service wasn't available in my room. Had to watch on my phone. Gary did his best to sort the problem out.
