Was looking forward to having a spa One of the reasons I booked this motel unfortunately it was cold

Room was clean and a good size. Big bed and good sized TV. Great location. In house restaurant, Clifford's Grill & Lounge, was exceptional.

Bed was too soft. No Netflix or streaming TV.

Great hotel in an ideal location, in the good part of Surfers with the light rail at your front door so everywhere was accessible. Staff were very kind and accommodating. I especially appreciate their efforts to allow me to change room after a disrupted sleep the 1st night as the room abutted the lift well so the sound of the lifts travelling up/down was heard all night. The 2nd room was lovely and quiet which enabled a good night sleep before participating in the Gold Coast running festival the following day. The bed was super comfy and the room spacious and well appointed.

Initially a room abutting the lift well but this problem was quickly solved which was appreciated.

The location was fantastic. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed, we got a free upgrade to a water view room which was nice, The staff were so friendly and helpful. Room service was an added bonus.

the only thing which I found not great was the lack of coffee and milk. Only 2 coffee bags and 4 little UHT milk.

Paying for parking it should be included in room rate

We liked that it was walking distance to the heart of Surfers Paradise Cavill Ave or the tram is just 2 steps outside the door. The hotel room & ensuite was a decent size with a nice deep soaker bath & nice hot water. We liked that there are 3 restaurants, bar, pokies, cafe on site with great food. They have happy hour Monday to Thursday from 4-6pm in the Social House Bar with $5 beer, wine & house spirits along with a .50Cent wings deal. There is a full buffet breakfast from 6-10am every morning with everything you can imagine & a dedicated omelette station. The staff are all very friendly & willing to help in any way they can.

The room was basic which was fine however there was no attention to detail. There were stains on the fabric headboards. The tall lamp was dodgy, leaning sideways, dusty & it flickered. The wardrobe doors were hard to slide open & 6 hangers are not enough for 2 people. The fridge wasn’t cold. It was on a higher temperature I guess to save power however that process made the small complimentary milk tetra implode & it was off. The tea/coffee/sugar box looked like it had not had any attention as it was messy like a child had squashed up all the packets & shoved them in. One of our bath towels had random dark stains through it & so we didn’t use it. I don’t think anyone had stayed in the room for a while as it was dusty, especially the ensuite exhaust fan.

So glad we booked here for our 3 night get away, after much research/deliberations/comparison to other hotels. Room was very clean and did not have any smells to it (I am super fussy about that). Bed was very comfortable but take your own pillow as they are extremely flat, like a tissue in a pillow case. Room service food was quick to arrive, staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was included which was an ok buffet, not our favourite but did the job. Location is amazing, tram stop right out the front, short walk into Surfers or the beach. Parking was prearranged and very easy as was check in and out. Lifts were very quick, never had to wait.

Nit picking here but some form of Chromecast or ability to watch a streaming service would have been nice for our lazy weekend. Have to get towels for the pool from reception, would have been easier to have a cupboard near the pool to help yourself to.

Bed was very comfortable Great location, Great views, Nice entry - scale was huge, Lift service quick, Good water pressure in shower and exhaust fan extracted the steam away quickly. Movies were good on the TV The lounging area in the foyer was nice and comfy and contemporary

No bottled water in room. We arrived late evening and had to pop out to the shops to pick up some reasonably priced bottles of water Bathroom grout was a little grubby on first impressions. Bathroom was a little dated but did the job. Would've been a great room if the bathroom was updated and configuration changed to a shower instead of a shower over a bath.

Location was perfect, walking distance to public transport and main pick up area for tourist shuttle that took us for free to 2 main shopping malls in gold coast (Harbour town and pacific fair). Tram was pretty much outside the hotel door and we used the tram to get to movieworld, dream world, wet and wild, water world. We didn't need a rental car as the tram stops and hallensvalle station where there is a bus service. Purchase a gocard, travel is around $3.50 and kids are half price. Plenty of food places to eat as well as restaurants in the hotel. Make sure you include breakfast, amazing buffet breakfast served with fresh food made daily. Massive selection of foods to choose from. We stayed for 9 nights with kids and the pools were handy to keep them entertained. Also a fitness centre in the hotel. Walking distance to main beach and shops in surfers. Ps: hotel provides swimming towls but you do have to ask at reception. There is laundry room but often busy, everyone staying at the hotel share 2 driers and washing machines (1 wasn't working when we were there) but there is laundry mat 2 mins away that opens from 6am to 6pm, the laundry mat is coin operated, they also sell laundry powder via vending machine. A convenient store across the road that opens 24 hours so handy for midnight snacks or toiletries if you forget something. Across the road is the observation deck which is another tourist attraction, there is a reception area next to the observation deck building that can book all the world's or tourist attractions for you and have great packages that are same price as online. So if you don't trust the many websites, just go there they can even sort travel rides for you and transfers.

Great location, pretty quiet but walking distance to beach, Cavil ave, restaurants, light rail. In room dining was yummy. Staff were wonderful. Especially when dealing with the noisy, rude family that we’re keeping me awake. And when my flight was canceled and I had to cancel my breakfast and dash to the airport to make the next flight, I wasn’t charged.

The family staying adjacent to me. Children were yelling, parents were yelling. Just disrespectful for all their neighbours. But this is not the fault of the hotel and staff were lovely and helpful when I called for assistance. They sent security to talk to the family and offered me to change rooms
