Very clean and affordable, I was surprised how good the rooms were despite of the price, because it was the cheapest motel in town I thought it was bad, but to my surprise this motel was better than the other motel that is more pricey... I definitely recommend this motel

The smell of linen it's like they don't used falcon when washing the linen, the wifi is complicated to connect it needs to put bank card details, I don't know if there is charges coz I didn't put my card details, because clearly it say free wifi... I hope they put microwave next time, it's very handy for people staying for couple of days...

I loved my stay at the Bairnsdale Main Motel - a classic, old-school "mom and pop" style motel, which I just love! I had the pleasure of meeting with and talking with the fantastic host, a really good man with a heart of gold. The room was cosy, quiet, clean and very comfortable, and I slept really well there. It had everything I needed for a self-catered stay, and I particularly appreciated the microwave in the shared area. I highly recommend a visit to nearby Raymond Island for koala-spotting if one is in the area for tourism. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

The shower was awesome. Great water pressure and very large. Some things like the bathroom are original, a blast from the past, but still in perfect condition and work great. Beds really comfy and sheets felt like very good quality/thread count. We booked last minute for a one night stay and we’re pleasantly surprised just how comfortable the stay was. I’ve stayed in places that cost twice this a night that were not better. Will definitely stay again if in the area and could not recommend it more highly.

I liked that everything was ready for me when I arrived and checkout was so convenient. The heating was efficient and exceptionally warm. The bed was comfortable and cosy and I had a very good sleep. The food recommendations were very broad to cover every option available

Unfortunately my remote control wasn't working and because it took a long time to charge my phone I was unable to call reception to ask them to check it for me. It was a Minot inconvenience since I didn't really have much time to watch TV.

Bairnsdale Main Motel was a very pleasant surprise. The exterior areas are tidy and well cared for and the inside of our unit was clean, well maintained all for an exceptionally good price. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Really, full marks for providing such a great little motel at a reasonable price.

Somebody to meet us at reception would have been nice, however the information for where to go was on the door and our unit was ready for us with the key waiting inside.

Lots of space in the rooms with parking right out front and lovely showers. Rooms were very clean and tidy.

This motel is a nice place to stay in Bairnsdale. The room was clean tidy and comfortable with good a/c and hot water etc. There are spacious parking right in front of each room. Some service centres and fast food outlets are located close by. The city centre with shops, supermarkets, restaurants etc is about 3 km from the motel. Lakes Entrance is approximately 40 km, Paynesville 18 km and Raymond Island is 24 km from this facility.

Location was great. Shower had great water pressure, bed was comfortable and room was warm using the heating. When we arrived into town the Owner picked us up from the train station. The next day was taken into town to a recommended cafe for breakfast. Loved the friendly team at this hotel. Highly recommend and am looking forward to visiting again.

Property was clean and tidy. Felt like a trip back to the 50s. Bed was comfortable. Room smelt fresh and clean. Air-conditioning worked well. The shower was great, and the towels were large and thick.. winner.

On the highway, I was woken a couple of times by cattle trucks on the first night but not bothered by the second night.

Clean and comfortable. Great shower...a few of the large motel chains should take note. Have stayed here before and will again. The motel is old but not run down at all. It is well kept and comfortable. Check in and out is a breeze.

The room we stayed in has the power points behind the bed and very low to the floor. What that meant for me was that plugging in my CPAP machine was challenging due to the fact the plug on my machine is a long vertical plug. It only just fit. This was no issues with the power point in another room we stayed in at this place a couple of months ago. Just something for others to note.
