Located in a very calm & peaceful location out of the main road and was very nearby to Port Fairy town / beach. Check-in was very smooth (do inform them if you're going to check-in beyond 6 pm for them to place the instructions to check-in / key outside) and the staff were very pleasant. Room was just as was displayed, with the bed being very comfortable (for a couple) and bathroom was very well thought about. Room was adequately stocked with all utensils needed for cooking and was spacious as well (for a couple). There are DVD's which you can borrow from the reception, to watch via the DVD player placed in the room. Parking is right in front of the cabin as well. Sofa, a dining table & 2 chairs tops it off, for a nice dinner spot and a tiny little TV to enjoy some TV action.

Floors were a bit dusty (but understandable that it's a caravan park which could catch dust if the windows / doors are kept open & especially due to the wind during my stay was just quite heavy). If not, rest of the stay was awesome.

Friendly helpful staff. Dog treat on arrival was a really nice touch. Cabin was very clean & beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was modern & spacious. Ice in the freezer ready for us on arrival. Dog friendly cabin made our stay enjoyable for the whole family. Great area for the dogs to run & play. Nice hair dryer in the bathroom for us to use. Surprisingly peaceful and quiet at night (ever Easter weekend).

I couldn't find a face washer (accommodation supplied hand towel, bath mat & bath towels).

We stayed in a budget unit. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was great and everything was in perfect working order. The staff was great and the location is one of a kind and very silent. The activities for kids were fun and it was very good to see people with nice caravans parked nicely and neatly enjoying the great weather. Thank you.

Can't complain on anything.

The cabin was the nicest I have stayed in, well equipped, clean and comfortable, and unusually toiletries were provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we met up. The location was quiet being away from the highway, a little further from town than I initially thought however a car is needed to get into town from the caravan parks in Port Fairy. Having a dog park and dog only playground is a great fun idea, my dog actually used the playground climbing frame.

The bedroom was a bit of a squeeze, but manageable and then again I do like a big bed! I hadn’t stayed in a caravan park cabin for several years and was surprised initially at the going rate, but understand that those are the prices now. Thank you the dog and I did enjoy ourselves.

We didn’t have breakfast. - Brought our own. Cabin was very clean and provided everything we needed for an overnight stop prior to attending a funeral.

It was extremely windy (not a complaint - just a fact) - there seemed to be some loose laser light or something else that kept banging through the night …….or it could just be plain old nature doing it’s thing!

Clean and tidy, not hectic like some other parks in Port Fairy, friendly owners (even friendlier gorgeous resident doggo), great location, this place is a hidden gem on the Warrnambool side of Port Fairy, nothing to not like!

The Gum Tree Caravan is a lovely place to stay, the beds are new, cabins are clean and the shower is exceptional. I also can't speak more highly of the owners, Viv and Pete, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and even took us into town a couple of time, which was over and above the call of duty.

Couldn't fault the place.

Location was great being a little out of town,so was a very quiet spot. I had my little dog with me and the park is super dog friendly. It has a massive dog run both fenced and unfenced. The bed was super comfortable too. The staff was excellent too.

Nothing really.

we chose this place purely because they allowed dogs. our dogs were welcomed and as they are poodles, we left the property without a single dog hair in the place :). Very happy with the doggy bickies on arrival :)

The pet friendly vans would be extra special with small fences around them but no concerns otherwise :)

clean comfty had all the things we needed :) reception gave us some pegs to hang out our washing which was a bonus x washer dryer available coins needed :) bring some pegs:) can’t fault the place x

nothing really - just people need to take there stuff out the washer and dryer on time then other people can use the facilities
