Comfortable, clean hotel/motel accommodation in the heart of Port Fairy, within walking distance of shops and eating places as well as the Moyne River and the wharf. Room was a good size, and included a small wooden table and chairs for eating, and two armchairs and a side table. There are also wooden seating benches outside the rooms. We appreciated the provision of bottled water as Port Fairy's water doesn't have the nicest taste. The dining room next door at the Caledonian Inn has a seniors menu Monday - Friday. Fish and chips were delicious! Staff were very helpful and friendly.

No soap holder in the shower!

I stayed one night at this pub accommodation and had a positive experience. The rooms, located behind the pub, were self-contained and offered a surprising level of privacy. They were clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The on-site restaurant, the food was good, making it convenient to enjoy a great meal without having to venture far.

Wonderful renovations have achieved a great hotel. Expansive bar and dining room, great beer garden, superb dining and comfortable rooms with comfortable beds and quality linen.

Only drawback- a curtain across the shower (which is brilliant) is not a great idea in that it does allow water to flow across the bathroom floor.🥲

Comfortable facilities, good size room, great location. Perfect for a 1 night stay.

Had a big step to get into the room that was a bit hard to climb for someone with a walking stick that wasn’t noted to us upon calling before booking, but other than that it was a great stay!

The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and nothing more nor less than I'd expected. I was disappointed I couldn't eat in the restaurant automatically, but hadn't booked, so that's fair on a Friday night. There was no downside, I had an excellent sleep in a warm and comfortable room.

Staff were so friendly, the pub has vibes and is a great location. Beds were comfy and quiet rooms, although could hear people from the pub when it closed.

Lovely staff and family run hotel. Room was cozy and clean. heating in the room was great. Quiet and pleasant. Dinner at the hotel was so delicious we went twice in 2 days. Vibe in hotel was greatas were the wonderful staff. We will be back.

Nothing loved it all

We enjoyed a fantastic meal in the front bar, I would suggest booking as the restaurant is very popular. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.

The parking near the rooms is limited and tight but we parked right out front on the street.

We were looking for somewhere to stay for the night as part of a longer journey. We have stayed at many motels in this range. The Stump just got more things better than most of the places we have used.

For the price range it was good.
