The owners' communication was great and they had the gas log heater on for us when we arrived. The bed was comfortable, the spa was lovely, the cottage was clean and welcoming. Would definitely come again.

The only thing I can think of is that I had hoped to be closer to the alpacas but they decided to stay on the other side of the paddock. :)

We stayed in the House for 2 nights. The 170 year old building has been renovated with a sensitive balance between maintaining the original quirkiness and ambience with modern bathrooms and appliances and furnishings. The building has numerous small rooms that are tastefully furnished and equipped with all the we needed for our stay. The environment was very relaxing and the host, Steve, was helpful, responsive and very pleasant. A lot of thoughtful touches were added, with the most welcome being the heating turned on in advance of our arrival, ensuring the property was very cosy when we settled in. This had not occurred at any other accomodation we have used over the past week while travelling through ACT, NSW and VIC. Port Fairy is a delightful town and I highly recommend this property for couples and families if you are looking for a comfortable stay with a thoughtful host.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. A little bit of country nestled a hop, skip, and jump from the main center of Port Fairy. Clean and cozy with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Every channel you could wish for on the television. Cooking facilities with everything required. Llamas and cows to wake up to, honestly, what more could we ask for. Beaches are a short drive with little safe coves to swim in. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property], and it exceeded my expectations! The cottage was warm, cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal – close enough to explore Port fairy, yet quiet and peaceful enough for a relaxing retreat. Waking up to a few Llamas grazing outside our cottage was a very beautiful view. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing stay! Can’t wait to come back

It was a really warm and cosy base for our weekend. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a 15min walk to the Main Street. The owners were lovely and easy to deal with, and such lovely little details such as a welcome board with your name listed next to what cottage you have, and a little handwritten note on entry to the cottage. The property itself it so green and lush, and you just feel like you’re in an little Irish town. It was quiet, although there were other guests, it still felt private. We also loved the greeting of a black and white cat at the car, and sitting on our deck in the morning to say hello!

The cutest property in Port Fairy! super spacious room and living room/bathroom. Lovely view of the animals from your bed and deck. Extra large bathroom with spa bath. Great decor, furnishings and fireplace to make your stay extra cosy. Seamless check in process. We didn't want to leave our Cottage

Absolutely nothing we loved everything about our stay. Bathrobes, slippers and/or bath salts would have been a nice touch but understand it's not a hotel

Steve and Anna were lovely hosts and able to accommodate our queries. Our cottage was suprisingly beautiful, big and clean as the photos on the website don’t do justice! It’s got nice views of the paddock and the vibe of the country living. It’s got all the amenities we needed. It is only a short drive to the beach of Port Fairy and about 15mins out of Koroit which we attended the Irish Festival, two main reasons for our visit! A great experience and comfy stay altogether.

Nothing. But we wished we could have seen more animals! We only saw the lovely cat who likes a pat who’s very friendly and welcoming.

loved this pretty little cottage loved the Lemon bushes the magpies bathing in the water feature the underfloor heating in the bathroom the gas fire was awesome bbq top of the range honesty bar was fabulous pretty country furnishings great washer dryer good location perfectly private super clean, which is hard in an old place I know. so so spacious the visiting cat I’m still missing. what an absolute darling he is. I’ve never known a cat you can pick up and plonk down and he stays. out of everything I’ve seen in my 104 days away from home, he’s the number 1 thing /being I’d love to take home. give him a kiss.

From the welcome text with all the check-in information and host contact details, to the location and the cottage itself, everything was fantastic. The cottage was clean and cozy, the bed was really comfortable, and the facilities were everything we expected and more. Very close to the main street/hub of Port Fairy, it's a perfect location. Enjoyed our local takeaway Thai dinner sitting on our private verandah, watching the sun set. It was quiet and serene with a rural aspect, but close to the beach and nature walks.

Wonderful location - close to everything but peaceful and serene. We loved the cottage and the wonderful garden. We had everything we needed for a 3 day stay and couldnt tear ourselves away! Very well equipped. Nothing was missing and we found it very easy to contact the owners. We will be back!

This is really knit-picking, but the couch was a bit small and the lock to get in the house was hard to manouvre.
